WSB Logo Orange 80x80England and New Zealand meet in the 4th and final T20 in Nottingham on Tuesday and we take a look at the game from a betting angle.

3rd T20

New Zealand kept the Series alive on Sunday when they put in a strong performance to beat England by 74 runs. New Zealand had won the toss in Edgbaston, Birmingham and decided to back first and Finn Allen scored an excellent 83 at the top of the innings at a strike rate of 156. He was ably supported by Glenn Phillips in the middle order getting his 69 runs at a strike rate of 200 and between them, the pair cleared the boundary 11 times as New Zealand reached 202 for 5 in their 20 overs. All of the England bowlers took some stick, but Gus Atkinson was the pick with his 2 for 31 off 4 overs.

England lost wickets at regular intervals in the chase and never looked like threatening the total with Jos Buttler eventually scoring with 40 at a strike rate of 190 and the English were bowled out for a 128. Most of the New Zealand bowling attack did well and there were 3 wickets apiece for Jamieson and Sodhi.

England had won the first two T20’s fairly comfortably winning by 7 wickets at Chester le Street and by 95 runs at Old Trafford in Manchester and they lead the 4 match series 2-1.

These sides have now played 7 T20’s on English soil with the home team winning 4, New Zealand 2 and one no result.

4th T20 BETTING – Click here to bet

England 5/10

New Zealand 33/20

The Black Caps have turned this Series around and while England deserve to start favourites I am tempted by the current prices of New Zealand especially given their dominant performance in the 3rd T20.

Suggested Bet: New Zealand Win at 33/20

Gus Atkinson impressed me in the 3rd T20 despite his team losing and if he can produce another similar performance the wickets may well come his way.

Suggested Bet: England Top Bowler, Gus Atkinson at 26/10
