With the FA Cup quarter-finals taking place this weekend we only have 3 EPL matches across Saturday and Sunday and in this preview we suggest a bet in each of them.
SATURDAY MATCH
Brighton v Newcastle – Click here to bet
Brighton and Newcastle sit 17th and 18th on the table respectively and neither of them are safe from relegation so this is a crucial fixture. Brighton broke a 3 match losing run when they beat Southampton 2-1 away last time out but they have lost their last 2 home games and have only had 1 home win in 14 matches this season.
Newcastle have not won in their last 5 starts and they are coming off 3 successive draws most recently 1-1 at home to Villa. Their last away game was a disappointing goalless draw at West Brom. They have won 3 of their 14 away fixtures and 11 of these away games have delivered profits for those backing under 2.5 goals.
Suggested Bet: Draw at 26/10
The draw stands out to me as an obvious play as this fixture has finished level the last 2 meetings head to heads in Brighton. It should also be a tight game given the fact that both sides are in the relegation scrap.
SUNDAY MATCHES
WEST HAM v ARSENAL
West Ham are 5th on the table, but have lost 2 of their last 3 including going down 1-0 away to Manchester United last time out. They have won their last 3 home games though, most recently beating Leeds 2-0. The Hammers have lost just 3 of 14 home games this season.
Arsenal have taken 7 points from the last 9 they have play for and have climbed to 10th on the table. They are coming off a 2-1 home win over Tottenham and their last 2 away games were a draw at Burnley and a win at Leicester.

West Ham 18/10
Draw 49/20
Arsenal 31/20
Suggested Bet: Arsenal win at 31/20
Arsenal are playing some good football and I got the feeling watching West Ham against Manchester United that they are going to struggle to maintain their Top 5 position.
ASTON VILLA v TOTTENHAM
Aston Villa are 9th on the table, 1 position and 4 points behind Tottenham who have played a game more. Villa haven't won in their last 3 matches and they are coming off back-to-back draws, away at Newcastle and at home to Wolves. Under 2.5 goal backers would have collected in Villa’s last 4 EPL matches.
Tottenham saw a 3 match winning run broken when they lost 2-1 away to Arsenal last time out. They were also bundled out of Europe in midweek.

Aston Villa 2/1
Draw 12/5
Tottenham 29/20
Suggested Bet: Aston Villa win at 2/1
I think Villa could be running into Tottenham at just the right time as they seem to be heading into another slump and Villa look well priced to take advantage.
