BettingDiaryThe English Premier League season is fast winding to a close and we take a look at the 3 matches taking place on Saturday and suggest a bet in each of them.

BURNLEY v LEEDS

Burnley are 15th on the table and guaranteed another season of English Premier League football. Last time out they beat Fulham 2-0 on the road, a result that formally sealed Fulham’s relegation to the Championship.

Burnley have battled at home of late and in their last 5 home games they have only taken 3 points and have yet to win a game.

Leeds have been full value in their return to the English Premier League and they sit 10th on the table with 3 matches left to play. Last time out they beat Tottenham 3-1 at home and that did break a run of 3 matches without a victory.

An interesting stat in Leeds 17 away games is that they haven't played to a draw with 8 wins and 9 defeats and their away games have averaged 3.6 goals each with 12 of the 17 matches delivering profits had you backed over 2.5 goals.

Burnley 39/20

Draw 51/20

Leeds 14/10

Suggested Bet: Over 3.5 goals at 16/10

Although Burnley home matches have been low scoring their last 2 games have had 3 and 4 goals in them respectively and coupled that with the stats on Leeds away games and the 16/10 looks great value.

SOUTHAMPTON v FULHAM

Southampton are 14th on the log and although they have comfortably avoided relegation they will be a bit disappointed in their season where a Top 10 finish would surely have been the target. They did get a victory, 3-1 at home in their last match and that broke a run of 4 games without a win. Their recent home form has been solid with 2 wins and 2 draws and a loss in their last 5.

Fulham are officially relegated from the Premier League and their recent form didn’t do them any favours, losing 6 of their last 7 and drawing the other 1. Last time out they went down 2-0 at home to Burnley and their last away game was also a 2-0 loss at Chelsea. Fulham away games have been low scoring with just 4 of the 17 matches reaching the 3 goal mark.

Southampton 21/20

Draw 26/10

Fulham 53/20

Suggested Bet: Southampton win at 21/20

I am not sure what sort of game we can expect here, but both sides have nothing to play for, but Southampton at least won their last match and I think they can beat a Fulham side who are already thinking of Championship football.

BRIGHTON v WEST HAM

Brighton are 17th on the log, but are safe from relegation as they are 10 points clear of Fulham with 3 games left to play.

They lost 2-1 away at Wolves last time out and their last home game was a 2-0 victory over Leeds. Their home form has been disappointing this season with just 3 wins in 17 starts although 2 of those wins have come in their last 3 home matches during which time they have been undefeated.

West Ham are 5th on the table and still have a shout at a Top 4 finish although 3 losses in the last 4 games have really derailed what was a very good campaign. They lost 1-0 at home to Everton last time out, but their last away game was a 2-1 away win at Burnley.

Brighton 37/20

Draw 49/20

West Ham 15/10

Suggested Bet: The draw at 49/20

I wasn’t sure where to go on this one, but then my eye got caught by the head-to-head stats that these sides have played to a draw in their last 4 League meetings and I think we have every chance of another one here as deep down believe West Ham probably know they have blown their Top 4 chance.
