BettingDiaryThere are 4 English Premier League matches taking place on Tuesday and we take a look at each of them from a betting angle.

SHEFFIELD UNITED v WEST BROM

Sheffield United sit rock bottom of the table on 8 points from 21 games, 4 points behind West Brom who are in 19th just 1 position above them. Sheffield United’s recent form has been encouraging and they lost 1-0 away at Manchester City last time out and prior to that shocked Manchester United with a 2-1 victory at Old Trafford. 6 out of the last 8 Sheffield United games have had 2 goals or less in them.

West Brom are coming off a 2-2 home draw with Fulham, but their only win in their last 5 starts came on the road at Wolves, 3-2. Goals have flowed in recent West Brom games with over 2.5 goal backers collecting in their last 6 matches.

Sheffield United 9/10

Draw 12/5

West Brom 69/20

Suggested Bet: Sheffield United win at 9/10

Neither of these sides look to have much hope of staying in the EPL, but Sheffield United are playing some decent football and can bag the 3 points here.

WOLVES v ARSENAL

Wolves are 14th on the log and without a win in their last 8 games. They were beaten 1-0 away by Crystal Palace last time out and their last 2 home games have been defeats to West Brom and Everton.

Arsenal are undefeated in their last 7 EPL matches although 2 of their last 4 have ended in draws, most recently a goalless draw at home to Manchester United. The Gunners recent home form has been excellent with 3 successive victories including a 3-1 win over Southampton in their last away start.

Wolves 47/20

Draw 47/20

Arsenal 5/4

Suggested Bet: Arsenal win at 5/4

Wolves won the reverse fixture 2-1 back in November, but the fortunes of the side has changed since then and given Arsenal’s recent away form they look well priced for 3 points.

MANCHESTER UNITED v SOUTHAMPTON

Manchester United are 2nd on the table, but their shares have tumbled in recent times with a goalless draw at Arsenal and a 2-1 home defeat to Sheffield United. Their home form has been fairly ordinary this season with 4 wins and 2 draws in 10 starts.

Southampton were flying high just a few weeks ago, but 3 successive losses have seen them fall to 11th on the table. Most recently they have lost to Aston Villa and Arsenal at home and their last away game was a 2-0 defeat at Leicester. Only 3 of 9 Southampton away matches would have delivered for those backing over 2.5 goals.

Manchester United 11/20

Draw 71/20

Southampton 5/1

Suggested Bet: Both teams to score, YES, at 15/20

There are generally goals on the cards when these sides met and this bet would have arrived in their last 5 EPL head-to-heads, 2 of which have been won 3-2 by Manchester United with the other 3 finishing in score draws.

NEWCASTLE v CRYSTAL PALACE

Newcastle are 15th on the table and are coming off a much needed 2-0 away win over Everton. That broke a run of 5 successive defeats and 9 matches without a victory.

Palace also bagged a 3 pointer last time out and they sit 4 points and 2 positions above Newcastle on the table. They beat Wolves 1-0 at home and on the road Crystal Palace have taken 2 points from the last 12 they have played for, exactly the same tally as Newcastle have taken from their last 4 home games.

Newcastle 37/20

Draw 9/4

Crystal Palace 33/20

Suggested Bet: Both teams to score, NO, at 9/10

This bet would have arrived in 4 of the last 5 Newcastle games and 4 of the last 5 games Crystal Palace have played. Throw in the fact that it would have also arrived in the last 5 head-to-heads and the 9/10 looks worth snapping up.
