BettingDiaryMonza is the venue for this weekend’s Italian Grand Prix and a dominant Lewis Hamilton is once again top of the betting boards.

Hamilton was too strong yet again in Belgium beating his teammate, Valtteri Bottas home. Max Verstappen continues to offer some sort of resistance to the Mercedes domination and he was 3rd with the Renault pairing of Ricciardo and Ocon finishing 4th and 5th. Given that they now head to their home Grand Prix there was very little to smile about from Ferrari with Vettel and Leclerc finishing 13th and 14th respectively.

We usually do a long term betting update at this point, but with Hamilton having basically wrapped up the title already and Mercedes miles clear in the Constructor Championships it looks like there is just race betting to look forward to.

Last year it was Charles Leclerc who brought joy for the home fans winning the Italian Grand Prix ahead of the Mercedes duo of Bottas and Hamilton. That is not to say Hamilton does not have a great record at the track though and he has won here 5 of the last 7 years.

Lewis Hamilton 5/10

Valtteri Bottas 4/1

Max Verstappen 11/2

Daniel Ricciardo 25/1

50/1 and better the balance

SUGGESTED BET: Fastest Qualifier/Fastest Lap and Race Winner, Any Driver, YES, at 5/2

Hamilton is a bit short for me at 5/10, but I do expect him to win the race and given his recent dominance I am happy to take odds of 2.5/1 that he not only wins the race, but is the fastest qualifier and gets the fastest lap.
