The Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas is where this weekends United States Grand Prix will be taking place and we take a look at the race from a betting angle.
Valtteri Bottas completed the clean sweep of Pole Position, Fastest Lap and Winning Driver in Turkey. His teammate, Lewis Hamilton had actually recorded the Fastest Qualifying Lap but was penalized 10 grid positions for a new ICE unit. Hamilton eventually finished 5th and it was Max Verstappen who chased Bottas home with Sergio Perez finishing in 3rd.
Verstappen has now opened up a 6 point lead in the top of the Drivers Championship and with 6 Grand Prix’s to go he has shortened into the 8/11 favourite with Hamilton on offer at 11/10.

Suggested Bet: Lewis Hamilton win at 9/10
This track should be perfect for Hamilton and his Mercedes and I am backing him to bounce back and possibly reclaim favouritism in the Title race. I am not expecting the track to suit Verstappen’s Red Bull to the same degree and for that reason prefer the 9/10 Hamilton over the 17/10 Verstappen.
This bet also comes with a money back in free bets for 2nd promotion and that is a nice layer of insurance to have when backing a 9/10 shot.
Suggested Bet: Fastest Lap, Bottas, at 7/2
He was absolutely flying in Turkey and I can well see a scenario here where Hamilton is leading comfortably and Bottas is working hard to keep Verstappen from the runner-up spot and in so doing fires in some quick laps late on.
