There is Monday night English Premier League action to look forward to and we take a look at the game between Fulham and Burnley from a betting angle.
Fulham currently sit 18th on the log and in the final relegation position, the team in 17th above them is Burnley, but they are a full 9 points ahead and both sides have 4 games to play. A win here would keep Fulham’s slim chances of playing Premier League football next season alive, a loss would formally end those hopes.
Unfortunately Fulham don’t carry much form into this one and they have lost 5 and drawn 1 of their last 6 matches. Last time out they were beaten 2-0 away at Chelsea although they did get a draw at the Emirates in their previous match, 1-1 with the Gunners.
They have really been struggling at home of late and have lost their last 4 home matches and even Sheffield United who are bottom of the table have taken more points at home than Fulham this season.
Burnley are also battling and have had 1 win and 4 losses in their last 5 games. Last time out they lost 2-1 at home to West Ham and their previous away game though was a surprise 4-0 win over Wolves, a game where they started 5/2 underdogs.
Burnley has won 2 and lost 3 of their last 5 away games and digging closer into the goal markets of these teams, Fulham home games have averaged just 1.9 goals each and under 2.5 goal backers would have collected profits in 10 of their 17 matches. Burnley’s away games have seen 9 of the 17 games reach the 3 goal mark and their last 5 away games have all seen over 2.5 goals arrive.
These sides played to a 1-1 draw at Burnley earlier in the season.

Fulham 12/10
Draw 49/20
Burnley 12/5
Suggested Bet: Burnley win at 12/5
I think Burnley are the value here especially given they thumped Wolves 4-0 on their last road trip. Deep down Fulham must know they have nothing to really play for and they certainly haven't shown the form that would see me taking the 12/10 that they win the match.
I am not going to get further involved, but were I to have a bet in the goal markets it would be Over 2.5 Goals at 19/20 or even Over 3.5 at 23/10 as these sides have a history of goals when they play each other.
