There is only 1 DSTV Premiership match taking place on Sunday, but it is a big one and it pits Soweto giants, Orlando Pirates up against the log leaders and defending Champions, Mamelodi Sundowns.
Pirates are currently 4th on the log and go into this fixture on the back of a 1-1 draw in the Derby against Swallows. Prior to that they beat Maritzburg United 2-0 at home. Pirates have played 11 home matches this season with 6 wins and 5 draws and they yet to taste defeat. They have won their last 4 home games in succession.
Digging deeper into Pirates goal stats there home games have been low scoring, averaging just 1.8 goals each and over 2.5 goal backers would have collected profits in only 2 of 11 matches. Pirates defence at home has been very sound and have only conceded 6 times in 11 games.
Sundowns are 1 point clear of AmaZulu at the top of the table having played 2 games less. It is far from panic stations, but they have only taken 2 points from the last 9 they have played for, most recently drawing 0-0 at home to Arrows and prior to that losing to Chiefs at home and drawing away at AmaZulu 0-0.
They are undefeated on the road this season with 7 wins and 4 draws and Sundowns away games have averaged 2.2 goals each with just over 50% of the matches failing to reach the 3 goal mark.
Sundowns won the reverse fixture 1-0 at home, but last season Pirates edged this game 1-0 and the most telling stat between these sides is that in their last 5 head-to-head matches in the League only 2 goals have been scored.

Orlando Pirates 26/10
Draw 7/4
Mamelodi Sundowns 14/10
Suggested Bet: The draw at 7/4
I think this is going to be a very tight game and would not be surprised if we get the draw here. In fact, if looking for a Correct Score I would take 0-0 at a current price of 21/4 as Pirates defence at home has been strong and the goals seem to have dried up a bit for Mamelodi Sundowns.
There are plenty of other markets on offer and there will also be in-running betting for this game.
