BettingDiarySouth Africa and Pakistan meet in the 3rd and final ODI at Centurion on Wednesday and with the series locked at 1-1 there is all to play for.

Pakistan won the opening match with a successful run chase of 274 at Centurion, but South Africa bounced back with a 17 run win at the Wanderers on Sunday. The Proteas batted first amassing a massive 341 for 6 with no fewer than 4 Proteas batsmen getting to 50 runs and captain Bavuma top scoring with 92.

For Pakistan most of the bowlers took punishment, but mention must be made of Haris Rauf who got 3 for 54 in his 10 overs.

Pakistan got off to a bad start and looked absolute no hopers until Fakhar Zaman caught alight and scored a tremendous 193 off a 155 balls before being somewhat controversially run out from a Markram throw to keeper de Kock.

Nortje was once again top South African wicket taker with 3, although he did take some stick in his final spell.

South Africa will now lose a number of key players to the IPL.

3rd ODI BETTING

South Africa 21/20

Pakistan 8/10

SUGGESTED BETS:

Pakistan win at 8/10

With the Proteas losing much of their strike force to the IPL, Pakistan’s batsmen have shown that on their day they can put any attack to the sword. They look good value to grab a series win.

Batsman to score 50 in the match, Babar Azam, YES, at 15/10

Azam was excellent in the 1st ODI and although he was out to a short Nortje ball in the 2nd just as he was getting going I have little doubt that he is capable of getting amongst the runs again.

Batsman to score a 50 in the match, Aiden Markram, YES, at 9/4

Markram has an annoying habit of getting into his stride only to throw his wicket away. He has looked comfortable against the Pakistan opening attack and I am hoping he applies himself and gets a 50 or more in this ODI.
