There is plenty of sport for punters to bet involved in this weekend and we take a closer look in our Betting Diary.
FOOTBALL
English Premier League is back and the match of the weekend sees 4th placed Manchester City take on 3rd placed Chelsea. City are currently a point behind Chelsea having lost 2 of their last 5 matches while Chelsea have taken 4 points from their last 5 games.
Manchester City were too strong for Chelsea in this fixture last season, winning 6-0. City are currently 9/20 favourites to win the game with Chelsea 11/2 and the draw on offer at just shy of 4/1 and we think the value in this game could lie with the draw given that Manchester City have not been as consistent this season as in previous years

Locally we have the Telkom Knockout Cup Semi-Finals and on Saturday, Arrows play against Sundowns. Sundowns are firm favourites at 9/10, Arrows are 33/10 and the draw is on offer at 22/10. The draw is usually a big runner in South African Cup matches and we think it once again offers the value especially considering Arrows beat Sundowns at home in the League earlier this season and they will certainly be no pushovers.
On Sunday, Kaizer Chiefs play Maritzburg United for a spot in the final and both sides in the last 16 and quarter-finals delivered for over 2.5 goal backers that is priced currently at 33/20 and must offer a bit of value.

RUGBY
There is plenty of live Rugby to look forward to this weekend, the European Champions Cup continuing and all eyes will be on Saracens to see if they can put away Ospreys. Saracens are currently (-22.5) and while in the past we would have had no doubt they could sweep this handicap aside, the salary cap issues will surely see them focussing on the Premiership.

CRICKET
There is plenty of Test Match cricket from around the world and the New Zealand v England 1st Test continues as does the Australia v Pakistan 1st Test and the India v Bangladesh 2nd Test.
Short cut links to all of these matches are available on the Home Page and the Mzansi Super League continues on Saturday and Nelson Mandela Bay Giants are at home to the Durban Heat and are priced at 4/6 with the Heat 5/4. There will be Exotic Markets available on the match and in-running betting available.

HORSE RACING
There is local horse racing at Turffontein and Kenilworth on Saturday and at Greyville on Sunday.
Turffontein is a 9 race card getting going at 13:05 and set to finish at 17:55. The card has a fairly open look to it with the shortest price favourite at the time of writing, Apache Too in Race 6 currently 14/10.

There is big racing at Kenilworth with the Concorde Cup and the Cape Merchants on an 8 Race card getting going at 13:25 and finishing at 17:30.
African Warrior is currently a 13/10 favourite for the Concorde Cup which is Race 6, but the Cape Merchants has a very open feel to it with Pleasedtomeetyou at 15/4 and Russet Air at 4/1 currently disputing a favouritism.

On Sunday we have Greyville, a 9 race card starting at 12:20 and finishing at 17:05. The Pick Six looks likely to pay well and many punters will be relying on Baby Shooz as a banker in the last leg with the Brett Crawford trained mount currently 8/10 to be guided to the victory by Anton Marcus.
