Wales against Georgia is the pick of Monday’s live sporting action, we take a look at that game and catch up on the latest outright betting in our daily Betting Diary.
RUGBY WORLD CUP
There were a couple of scares over the first three days, but no upsets to speak of yet in the Rugby World Cup. On Monday 12h15 South Africa time, Wales will take on Georgia and the betting suggests we will still be waiting for our first upset as Georgia are 18/1 for the win with Wales trading at 1/33. The current handicap is Wales (-27.5) at 9/10.
The trend we have noticed in this World Cup is that the teams often play more expansive in the first half and then the game either tightens up or the team that gets well clear steps off the gas in the second and for this reason fancy 1/1 that the first half is the highest scoring.

With all of the expected World Cup contenders, bar Wales, been in action let’s take a look at the latest outright betting. New Zealand have shortened from 15/10 to 12/10 after an impressive victory over the Springboks who remain joint second favourites with England at 9/2. Ireland have been clipped slightly into 8/1 after a convincing win over Scotland, Wales are steady at 10/1 and Australia are 15/1 after been given a real scare by Fiji. France got past Argentina which almost secures their spot in the last 8 and they have shortened from 35/1 to 20/1 and you can get a 100/1 and better the balance.
