Monday night English Premier League Football is the focus of our attention in our Daily Betting Diary.
FOOTBALL
17th placed Aston Villa host 13th placed Newcastle United in a Monday night EPL match. Villa are on a poor run which sees them hovering just above the relegation zone having lost 3 matches on the trot, although two of those games were against Liverpool and Manchester City. Newcastle are unbeaten in their last 3 and have won their last two games, at home to Bournemouth and away at West Ham.
These two sides last met in the Championship back in the 2016/2017 season where this fixture was drawn 1-1 and Newcastle beat Villa 2-0 at home. The last 7 head-to-head fixtures between the sides stretching back to 2014 have delivered for under 2.5 goal backers.
Aston Villa have been priced up as fairly firm favourites at 11/10, the draw 5/2 and Newcastle United trading at just over 5/2. Over 2.5 goals is trading at 17/20, we fancy this may be a low scoring affair and the 17/20 under 2.5 goals makes some appeal.

CRICKET
The 1st Test between New Zealand and England will conclude on Monday and England are battling for survival at 55 for 3 and still 207 runs short of making New Zealand bat again.
The Black Caps are 8/13 favourites with the draw 27/20 and England, not surprisingly, a massive 350/1. There are plenty of in-running Exotic Markets in the game and you can Click Here to bet on New Zealand v England.
HORSE RACING
Local Racing takes place at Flamingo Park on Monday with an 8 race card getting going at 12:20 and set to finish at 16:25.
Finding a Pick Six banker won’t be easy and there are not many strong favourites with Horse No. 3 in the 6th Race, Regent Seven currently the shortest price on the card at 17/10. You will certainly want to have a few horses running for you in the last leg if possible, because here they are betting 5/1 the field.
Our fancy for the day comes in the 4th Race, Horse No. 3, All The Sevens currently priced as 3/1 co-favourite with Phil S Power.
