Monday is a relatively quiet day by recent standards with a live Championship match and Horse Racing the pick for punters and we take a closer look in our Daily Diary.
SOCCER
There is live Championship action on Monday night and Stoke City take on West Brom, both teams at the start of the season dreaming of returning to the English Premier League, but Stoke have got off to a shocker of a start, currently sit bottom of the table with just 2 wins in 14 starts. West Brom are right in the promotion mix though sitting 3rd on the table, 1 point behind the leaders, Leeds, but with a game in hand. They have only lost once all season and haven't lost in their last 4 matches.
West Brom did the double over Stoke last season in the Championship winning 2-1 at home and winning this fixture 1-0.
Stoke are currently 19/10 to win the match with the draw 9/4 and West Brom priced at 15/10. We like the look of the draw at 9/4 given that Stoke will be desperate at home and West Brom have drawn their last two matches.

HORSE RACING
Local Horse Racing is at Flamingo Park, an 8 race card starting at 12:25 and finishing at 16:35.
Our first fancy for the day comes in the 1st Race, Horse No. 6, Generous Jack currently priced at 7/2 a win and 5/2 a Top 3 finish. In the 3rd Race, Kayla S Dream should be hard to beat and will rate a popular Pick Six banker at the current price of 5/10 and it does look difficult to find a banker in the Pick Six although, Our Moon Shadow in the last race, Horse No. 3 currently priced at 2/1 could also be worth risking as a banker while you load the other legs.
