BettingDiaryWe take a look at some of the Sports Betting options for punters to get involved in on Monday and also cast an eye forward to the busy week ahead.

CRICKET

The first Ashes Test enters its final day and Australia appear to have put themselves into a position where their worst result is a draw. They are currently 17/20 for the win with the draw 11/10 and England are 40/1. Root is currently the 7/2 favourite to be the top home batsman in the 2nd innings.

There will also be in-running betting options including match result betting and batsmen runs throughout day 5’s action.

TENNIS

The ATP Montreal in Canada is this week’s televised event and pick of the opening round fixtures could well be the temperamental Nick Kyrgios v Kyle Edmund. Kyrgios is priced at the 15/20 favourite with Edmund 21/20 and it certainly looks like one of the more competitive betting heats on the card

HORSE RACING

Local horse racing takes place at the Fairview Polytrack on Monday with the first race due off at 12h00 and the 9th and final race at 16h40.  One of the best bets on the card looks to be Captain Hook, number 1 in the 4th race currently priced at 11/10 the win and 2/7 for a top 2 finish.
