The Cricket World Cup semi-final between Australia and England takes centre stage on Thursday, but there are plenty of other sports to bet on including Cycling, Tennis, Football and Horse Racing.
CRICKET WORLD CUP
Australia and England meet in Edgbaston, Birmingham for a spot in the final. The Aussies may carry a psychological edge to the game having won the Round Robin match by 64 runs but they are coming off a somewhat surprising defeat to South Africa.
England have been playing high pressure cricket for a while now having to win their last two games to make it through to the knock-outs and they duly beat India and New Zealand to do so. You can click here to read our comprehensive preview of the game and as far as the betting goes Australia are 23/20 with England at 8/11.

WIMBLEDON
Thursday is ladies semi-final day and Elina Svitolina takes on Simona Halep with bookmakers betting 9/20 Halep will get the win. We think this could be a bit tighter than the betting suggests and like over 21.5 games at 17/20.

The other semi-final sees Serena Williams priced at 1/4 to beat Barbora Strycova at 27/10.
Williams is the current 15/10 favourite to win the Tournament – click here for outright betting and we are going to suggest a speculative play of Williams to win the first set 6-2 at 9/2.

AFCON 2019
The last 2 quarter-finals take place on Thursday with the Ivory Coast against Algeria and Madagascar v Tunisia.
Ivory Coast are just shy of 3/1 to beat Algeria who are 23/20 favourites with the draw quoted at 2/1

Madagascar have certainly been the surprise packages in this Tournament, but they look that they have it all to do against Tunisia who are 8/10 to win the game in 90 minutes with the draw 9/4 and Madagascar 17/4.

We fancy the double here, the draw in the Ivory Coast v Algeria game and Tunisia to win their match at 4.4/1.
GOLF
The Open Championship is around the corner and many players will build up to it at the Scottish Open taking place at the Renaissance Club, a new venue, which promises to offer up a typical links golf test.
Rory Mcilroy tops the betting boards at 6/1, but we think South African Branden Grace offers some value at 66/1 and just over 13/1 a place. Grace loves links golf and while not at his best this year has shown signs that he is on the up.

The PGA Tour event is the John Deere Classic and has a low key look to it with Viktor Hovland the favourite at 18/1. Our advice on this one is to watch the early going and get involved on the weekend in-running.

CYCLING, THE TOUR DE FRANCE
Stage 6 of the Tour de France should be an exciting one and the big boys are going to come out and play as the race ends on a steep climb. We will not know who is going to win the Tour after this stage, but we will certainly have an idea of who won’t as it is the sort of stage where big time can be lost if you are not on the top of your game.
Tour de France markets such as Outright Winner, Points Winner and Mountain’s Jersey Winner are updated daily and all long term markets and stage markets can be found by clicking here.
HORSE RACING
Local Horse Racing takes place at The Vaal on Thursday with the 8 race card getting going at 12.40 pm and the last race is due off at 16.50 pm.
We have had a quick look at the card and fancy Horse Number 1, Ronnie’s Candy in Race 5 at the current price of 13/10.
