The Open Championship is one of the sporting highlights taking place on Thursday and we take a look at some of the betting options available on Golf’s final Major as well as other sporting options for punters to bet on.
THE OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP
Rory Mcilroy remains firm in the betting at 9/1 to win the Open at Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland. Multiple Major winner, Brooks Koepka has drifted slightly to 12/1 and Jon Rahm is stable at 16/1. You can get 18/1 and better the balance.

One of the popular betting options for golf punters is the 72 hole Matchbets where you pick one player to beat another over the course of the Tournament. We like the inform Jon Rahm to beat Dustin Johnson at 9/10 and suggest a double onto Rory Mcilroy to beat Brooks Koepka at 8/10. The double works out at just over 24/10.

BARBASOL CHAMPIONSHIP
There is also a USA PGA event taking place this weekend and Jhonattann Vegas is the 25/1 favourite in what looks a really open Tournament.
One man who we have kept an eye on a bit of late is Andres Romero once considered to have the potential to win a major and while inconsistent he has shown some decent form of late and we like the 80/1 a win and 16/1 that he runs a place.

TOUR DE FRANCE
The Tour de France heads into the mountains for Stage 12, but with the individual time trial taking place on Friday it is very likely that the big guns will watch each other and the breakaway will form early and will fight out the stage win.
Current yellow jersey, Julian Alaphilippe is actually favourite for the stage, but we prefer the chances of Rui Costa at around the 18/1 mark.

NETBALL WORLD CUP
Netball World Cup continues on Thursday and South Africa face a tough game against England at 20h45 South African time. Betting will be available on all fixtures on Thursday morning and you can you can click here to access our Netball World Cup markets.
HORSE RACING
Local Horse Racing takes place at the Vaal on Thursday with the first race on a 9 race card scheduled to go off at 12h10 and the 9th race at 16h50.
We think that horse number 10, Stellar Motion, in the 2nd race is going to be tough to beat and can justify current quotes of 7/10.

WATER POLO
The South African men are in action against Hungary in the early hours of Friday morning South African time and the size of the task ahead of them is evident when you see that they are 24/1 to win the match with Hungary as short as 1/100. A handicap will be available closer to the start of the match.
