We take a look at some of the sports betting options available to punters on Thursday in our daily diary.
FOOTBALL
There is a full house of Europa League matches on Thursday night and Arsenal face what looks like a tricky opener away at Eintracht Frankfurt with the home team 37/20, the draw 51/20 and the Gunners 27/20 favourites. The Gunners looked very good on attack in the early stages against Watford on the weekend, but allowed their opponents to come back to draw 2-2 and we think given this match is on the road they will try and tighten their defence and under 2.5 goals appeals at current odds of 23/20.

GOLF
The popular BMW PGA Championship takes place at Wentworth in a new time slot and Rory McIlroy tops the betting at 6/1 a win and 12/10 a place.
The BMW PGA Championship is played at Wentworth and few have better course form than Francesco Molinari who won it last year and has had 3 Top 5’s in the last 4 years and 6 Top 10’s in the last 7. His form this season hasn’t been great, but we can’t resist this course specialist at the current price of 35/1.

The PGA Tour continues with the Sanderson Farms Championship taking place in Mississippi. It must be said that a fairly weak field has been assembled with last week’s winner at the Greenbrier, Joaquin Niemann, the ruling favourite at 16/1.
We fancy Corey Conners, last year’s runner-up for a big week and he is currently priced at 30/1 the win and 6/1 a place.

HORSE RACING
Local Horse Racing takes place at the Vaal Racetrack on Thursday with the first race due off at 12h25 and the 9th and final at 17h15. The card has a very open field to it with no odds on shots at the time of writing and we fancy No. 7, Empress Rock currently priced at 5/1 for a big run in the 5th race the first leg of the Jackpot.

RUGBY WORLD CUP
Rugby World Cup fever is building and although we have a fairly low key encounter to get us going on Friday there will be plenty at stake for the hosts Japan when they face Russia. We will suggest a bet on this game tomorrow, but for now have a read of our Match Preview by clicking here.
Our focused Exotic Market for today’s article is the Top Point Scorer where Owen Farrell is currently a 34/10 favourite, ahead of Pollard at 4/1. We think Pollard is a big runner in this market and are also strong on the even money that he finishes in the Top 4 of the Points Scorers.
