BettingDiaryPunters are once again spoilt for choice on Thursday with World Cup Rugby, International Cricket, European and PGA Golf as well as Europa League to tempt you into wagering your punting rands.

RUGBY WORLD CUP

There are two matches on Thursday, Georgia v Fiji first up. The handicap has been pretty stable all week and Georgia (+8.5) and with conditions expected to be challenging for running rugby, the under 48.5 points appeals at odds of 9/10. There are plenty of markets to bet on including first try scorer and anytime try scorer markets and you can click here to bet on Georgia v Fiji.

The second match of the day sees Ireland take on Russia and the Irish are (-53.5) points at the time of writing. They were very disappointing losing to Japan on the weekend and will no doubt be looking to bag the bonus point here something they should achieve with ease. We are expecting them to come out firing, the half-time result Ireland (-26.5) at 9/10 looks like a runner.

FOOTBALL

There is a full house of Europa League action on Thursday night and English eyes will be on the Emirates Stadium where Arsenal are 4/10 to beat Standard Liege. Arsenal came from behind to draw 1-1 with Manchester United on the weekend and we fancy them to score freely and the Arsenal (-1) on the handicap at 19/20 is our suggested play.

GOLF

The European Tour moves to Spain where Jon Rahm is a 33/10 favourite to win his home event. Fellow Spaniard, Sergio Garcia, is 8/1 and the locals dominate the betting with Cabrera Bello on offer at 14/1.   We will be looking out for South African Justin Harding currently priced at 66/1 a win and just over 13/1 a Top 5 finish.

Brooks Koepka is favourite across the pond in the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open and the multiple Major Champion is priced at 10/1 with the rock steady Patrick Cantlay 12/1 and previous Fedex Cup Champion, Bryce Dechambeau on offer at 18/1. We have to go quite far down the betting boards to find South African interest with Dylan Frittelli on offer at 60/1 a win and 12/1 a Top 5. Last week’s winner Cameron Champ is well priced at 66/1 for the win.
