Euro 2020 Qualifiers are Tuesday’s sporting highlight and we take a look at the betting as well as at local Horse Racing and a sneak peek ahead to the Rugby World Cup Weekend, all of this in our Daily Betting Diary.
SOCCER
Euro 2020 Qualifiers continue on Tuesday night and Switzerland are 11/20 to see off Ireland at home with the Irish priced at 21/4 and the draw at 57/20. If you think there will be 3 goals or more in the game you can get 12/10 over 2.5 goals and 27/20 that both teams find the back of the net.

Another big game on Tuesday night sees Sweden up against Spain with the Swedes 13/4 underdogs and the Spanish 17/20 to win the game, the draw is on offer at 5/2. We expect to get goals in this one and the over 2.5 goals at 19/20 appeals as an interest bet for the night.

HORSE RACING
Local horse racing takes place at the Durbanville Race Track in Cape Town with an 8 race card scheduled to get going at 13:30 with the final race scheduled to get off at 17:40.
There are a number of short priced favourites on the card with Horse No. 2, Imperial Rage, in the 7th Race currently priced as 9/10 and looks like a popular Pick Six banker. The 6th Race also adds a firm favourite in Double The Fun, Horse No. 4 currently priced at even money. The first leg of the Pick Six is Race No. 3 and here we fancy we might get a result with No. 8, Golden Tractor, currently priced at 9/1 a win and 18/10 a Top Three.

RUGBY WORLD CUP
There has been very little change to the Outright Betting in the Rugby World Cup over the last 24 hours with New Zealand still 13/10 favourites ahead of South Africa 33/10 and England at 4/1.

Josh Adams has shortened to 5/4 favourite to be the Top Try Scorer with Japan’s Kotaro Matsushima 7/2 and South Africa’s Makazole Mapimpi now 8/1. Many a punter’s choice at the start of the Tournament, Sevu Reece was unfortunate not to play the final game of the Round Robin against Italy and he is now 10/1 to storm through the field and win the Top Try Scorer award.

As mentioned in Monday’s Diary, the 4 Quarter-Finals have been priced up and today we will take a look at the Japan v South Africa game where Japan are (+14.5) and South Africa (-14.5). There are a host of other markets priced up and more to follow later in the week and the Winning Margin is often a popular play and if you do fancy Japan to push South Africa close you can get South Africa by under 12.5 points at 2/1.
