Football punters are in for a treat on Tuesday night with Champions League and PSL matches to bet on. We take a look at Tuesday’s betting highlights in our Daily Diary.
FOOTBALL
Group E to H are in action on Tuesday night in the Champions League and while Liverpool are 1/12 to beat Genk in Group E, leaders Napoli face a tougher task at home to Salzburg and they are 17/20 for the win.

Barcelona look to be in control of Group F on 7 points with Dortmund and Inter both on 4 and that is the game of the night with Dortmund even money at home to beat Inter who are 53/20 with the draw 51/20.

Group G looks very competitive with all 3 teams separated by just 3 points. Leipzig currently sit top of the table and they are 13/10 to beat Zenit on the road and a victory here would take them a long way towards qualification.
Lyon v Benfica should be a competitive affair with Lyon just short of even money favourites at 19/20, Benfica 27/10 and the draw at 27/10.

Group H is very competitive with the top 3 teams separated by just 2 points. Chelsea and Ajax are both on 6 points from 3 games and Chelsea are home to Ajax priced at 9/10 for the win with the visitors 28/10 and the draw 57/20.
In the Group’s other game, Valencia who are on 4 points are 17/20 to see off Lille who are 67/20 with the draw at 5/2.

There are 3 PSL matches on Tuesday night and Pirates will be looking to climb the table from their current 8th position when they host Maritzburg United who sit 1 point below them in 9th. Pirates are 17/20 for the win and we rate them as a solid bet.
SuperSport are 53/50 to beat Arrows at home with the visitors 28/10 and the draw 22/10 and both sides are travelling reasonably well with SuperSport in 5th and Golden Arrows in 7th place, the draw certainly looks a big runner here.
The other match is Bloem Celtic against Highlands Park and Celtic are without a win in their last 3 matches and are 11th on the table and face a Highlands side with one win in their last 3, but they are riding high in 4th on the table. Celtic are 16/10, the draw 19/10 and Highlands Park are 21/10.

CRICKET
The 3rd T20 between New Zealand and England gets going in the early hours of Tuesday morning South African time and New Zealand are 15/20 with England at 11/10. There are a host of markets priced up including player to score the most 6’s where we quite fancy the chances of Johnny Bairstow at 8/1. Other markets include top home and away batsman, Australia v Pakistan 2nd T20 top home and away bowler as well as whether there will be a 100 scored in the match and you can get 6/1 that there will be one.

HORSE RACING
Local Horse Racing takes place at the Kenilworth Racetrack in Cape Town with the first race due off at 13:10 and the 8th and final race at 17:25.
Watch out for Horse No. 5 in the 2nd Race, first-timer Croisette who is priced at 9/20 to make a winning debut for the Drier stable. A roughie we fancy on the day is Horse No. 4 in the 7th Race, All In Line trained by Vaughn Marshall and currently 16/1 a win and 19/10 a Top 3 finish.
