We take a look at Wednesday’s sporting highlights from a betting angle in our Daily Diary.
FOOTBALL
There is 1 English Premier League match on Wednesday night where Manchester City 7/20 are at home to Arsenal 29/4 with the draw 19/4.

There are 2 Uefa Champions League last 16, 2nd leg matches taking place on Wednesday night and Liverpool will have to come from behind to beat Atletico Madrid who won 1-0 at home in the 1st leg.
Of some concern to Liverpool fans will be the fact that in all 3 of their group matches they conceded at Anfield and if they do so again they really will face a mammoth task to get back into the tie.
Atletico Madrid’s away form has not been as strong in Europe with defeats to Juventus and Bayern Leverkusen and a victory over Lokomotiv Moscow.
Liverpool are 11/20 for the win, the draw is 3/1 and Atletico Madrid are 21/4 and we fancy Atletico to keep things tight early and believe the under 0.5 goals at half-time at 37/20 is worth a play.

The PSG v Dortmund tie is nicely placed after Dortmund won the 1st leg 2-1 at home. PSG’s record in the group stages at home was 3 wins out of 3, scoring 9 goals and not conceding. Dortmund lost 2 and won 1 of their away group matches.
PSG are 15/20 for the win, Dortmund 31/20 and the draw 67/20 and we think the 15/20 PSG is a good bet.

There is also a live PSL match on Wednesday night with Stellenbosch at home to Sundowns.
Stellenbosch currently sit 11th on the table and they have won 3 and lost 2 of their last 5 matches and they host a Sundowns team that if should they win their two games in hand over Kaizer Chiefs would only be 1 point off the pace and they have won their last 3 PSL matches.
Stellenbosch are 38/10 for the win with the draw 49/20, but we think Sundowns are the business at 8/10.

The Momentum One Day Cup continues with the Titans up against the World Sports Betting Cape Cobras.
The Titans are favourites at home at 11/20 with the Cobras on offer at 15/10 and the bet we fancy here is the WSB Cape Cobras to hit the most 6’s at 14/10.

Bangladesh meet Zimbabwe in the 2nd T20 and they are firm favourites at 1/6 with Zimbabwe on offer at 9/2. The first innings score line is set at 167.5.

GOLF
A look ahead to Thursday will see our Players Championship getting underway and as usual this event has attracted a quality field with Rory Mcilroy the 7/1 favourite ahead of Jon Rahm 12/1, Justin Thomas 14/1 and you can get 22/1 and better the balance.
With the Majors on the horizon it will be interesting to see if Brooks Koepka currently 40/1 can return to form and looking further down the leaderboard, I never thought I would see the day when Jordan Spieth would start at 80/1.
