Wednesday looks pretty lean as far as live sporting action is concerned and we take the opportunity to look ahead to what punters can expect later in the week.
GOLF
The Open de France gets going on Thursday and if the betting is anything to go by it looks a fairly open affair with Alex Noren, South African Erik van Rooyen currently top of the betting boards at 14/1.

Van Rooyen is also 11/10 to be the Top South African. We have a fancy for Justin Walters who went well last week at 8/1.

HORSE RACING
Local horse racing takes place at the Greyville Polytrack on Thursday with the 8 race card getting going at 12:10 and set to finish at 16:25.
Royal Kitty in Race 7 will be a popular Pick Six banker and is currently at prohibitive odds of 7/20 and for those who do want to load some of the latter legs then Duke Of York could be the option in the first leg of the Pick Six, Race 3 currently priced at 11/10 the win. A fancy you do have at a nice price is in the 6th Race where Classic Guard, Horse No. 3 is currently 5/1 a win and is just shy of even money for a Top 3.
