HORSE RACING
Local horse racing takes place at the Greyville Turftrack on Wednesday with an 8 race card set to get going at 12:45 with the final leg of the Pick Six scheduled at 16:55.
The Pick Six certainly looks a challenging one to catch with no obvious banker standing out, but we do fancy the favourite in Race 3, in the first leg, Horse No. 6 Winter Sun currently priced at 7/2 for the win and 63/80 for a Top 3 finish. Northern Route, Horse No. 5 in the 5th Race should also give a good account of himself at a current win price of 5/2.

GOLF
Although the Portugal Masters only takes place on Thursday, it has a fairly early start so it is better to cover it in our Wednesday Diary. The field looks fairly weak with Matt Wallace, the market leader at 10/1 ahead of one of our fancies, Lucas Bjerregaard currently priced at 20/1 a win and 4/1 a place, he hasn’t been at his best since some excellent performances in the Majors earlier in the year, but has shown signs of coming to hand and we fancy him to go close this week. You can get 22/1 and better the balance.

RUGBY WORLD CUP
There has been no change to the betting of the two semi-finals with New Zealand still (-7.5) against England, South Africa (-8.5) against Wales after some money for them earlier in the week.
