BettingDiaryAs our build up to the Ashes series continues we take a look at some of the other betting highlights available to punters on Wednesday.

CRICKET

Sri Lanka will be looking to complete a 3-0 series sweep when they play Bangladesh in the 3rd ODI on Wednesday.

Sri Lanka are priced at 6/10 favourites with Bangladesh 27/20 and you can click here for all of our markets in the game including the Pre-Match Handicap, Highest First 15 Overs Score and Man of the Match Betting.

The Ashes Series gets going on Thursday and you can click here for the latest Outright Betting where England remain firm favourites.

We will have more on the match itself in our Thursday Diary, but for now a look at another of the Exotic Series Markets namely Matches to be over by the end of Day 4.  Test match cricket certainly delivers plenty of short matches that don’t go into the 5th day and with conditions expected to favour the bowlers we think we are going to see a few of these.  The favourite in this market is that 3 matches of the 5 are over by the end of Day 4 at 5/2 and we think this is a worthy favourite.

TENNIS

The ATP Washington continues on Wednesday and South African, Kevin Anderson, is a 7/20 favourite to beat Adrian Mannarino.

Our punt for the day comes in the match between Hubert Hurkacz and John Isner where we fancy the big serving Isner to win the first set 7-6 at 47/20.  This is a shorter price than you would normally get for this particular bet, but Isner does find himself in loads of tie breakers.

SOCCER, COSAFA CUP 2019

The women’s COSAFA Cup gets under way and South Africa are in action against the Comoros on Wednesday with South Africa 1/8 favourites, the Comoros 14/1 and the draw priced at 6/1

A more competitive betting heat looks to be Malawi v Madagascar where Malawi are 19/20, Madagascar 26/10 and the draw is 22/10.

HORSE RACING

Local Horse Racing takes place at the Greyville Polytrack on Wednesday with Race 1 due to get going at 12h10 and the 9th and final race at 16h45.

The final race does look quite an open affair with Highland Heather the ruling favourite at 28/10 and we fancy the chances of No. 10, Royal Kitty currently priced at 9/2 win and 17/20 a place.

RUGBY, CURRIE CUP

The weekends matches also been priced up with Free State (-14.5) at home to the Lions.  Pumas (+8.5) at home to the Sharks and the Blue Bulls (-5.5) at home to Griquas.

Continuing our look ahead to the weekend our featured PSL match is Pirates v Bloem Celtic where Pirates are priced at 13/20, Bloem Celtic 9/2 and the draw at 12/5.  Pirates showed in the Derby against Chiefs on the weekend that they will be a force to be reckoned with this season and we fancy them to lead at half-time and win the match at 17/10.
