WSB150The Currie Cup final between Free State and the Golden Lions is Saturday’s betting highlight, but there are also other International matches as well as Euro Football, Vuelta a Espana Cycling and in-running Golf and Cricket options.

RUGBY

The betting on the Currie Cup Final between the Free State Cheetahs and the Golden Lions has been fairly stable for the last few days with the handicap Free State Cheetahs (-7.5).  If you are undecided on that market or who is going to win the game there are plenty of other options and a popular bet in a final will be the Free State to win by under 12.5 points at 15/10.

We were very impressed with the way the Free State finished off the Sharks last week and although the Lions beat them in Bloemfontein earlier in the season we can’t look past the Pro 14 Team and expect them to win by 8 points or more.

There is plenty of televised Rugby on Saturday including International matches, New Zealand v Tonga, Australia v Samoa and Ireland v Wales.

Ireland v Wales promises to be the most competitive match and Ireland will be looking to put in a big performance on home turf.  The current handicap is (-5.5) and we think that is worth siding with.

FOOTBALL

There are a host of European qualifiers taking place this weekend and England are short priced at 1/10 to beat Bulgaria at home with the Bulgarians on offer at a massive 26/1.  We are not convinced England are going to have it all their own way early doors and that Bulgaria may put up some defensive resistance and so the under 2.5 goals at 17/10 appeals as some betting value.

F1

The Italian Grand Prix takes place on Sunday and while Lewis Hamilton might be 1/100 to win the Drivers’ Championship, he is only second favourite in this race at 39/20 behind Charles Leclerc 29/20.

The money back for Second Promotion applies, see banner below and there are plenty of other markets including Top 3, Fastest Lap, First Retirement and whether or not there will be a Safety Car.

TENNIS

The US Open concludes over the weekend with the Ladies and the Men’s Final and you can click here for betting on the Men’s Final when available and click here for the Ladies final betting.

Other in-running options to bet on this weekend include the Porsche European Open, click here for the in-running link as well as the 4th Ashes Test between England and Australia.  At the time of writing, Australia seem very much in control and there are always a host of in-running markets including batsmen runs and next wicket to fall.

CYCLING

It is a big weekend in the Vuelta a Espana with plenty of battles expected amongst the big riders.  The Classification Market is updated after each Stage and while some of those look quite one-sided the real action is in the Stage Betting where we have had some massive upsets to date. The weekend promises to be a bit more predictable though so keep an eye on this link for Stage Winner and Stage Match Betting.

NFL

The NFL gets going this weekend and there are a host of matches priced up as well as Outright Betting for the various divisions.

Our fancy for the day comes in Race 5 at Turffontein, a 2400 metres marathon where we like the chances of In For A Penny, currently 28/10.
