Outright Betting update, previous week’s prices in bracketsClick here to bet

Brumbies 9/20 (6/10)

Reds 9/2 (9/2)

Rebels 6/1 (11/2)

Waratahs 12/1 (9/1)

Western Force 40/1 (16/1)

Despite not looking at their best in the two opening matches the Brumbies have shortened into 9/20 favourites from 6/10 a week ago. The Reds and Rebels prices are fairly stable with the Waratahs out from 9/1 to 12/1 and the Western Force from 16/1 to 40/1. There is also betting on who will finish bottom and here the Western Force are 1/12 favourites.

WARATAHS v REBELS – Click here to bet

This match was actually scheduled to be a Rebels home game, but because they cannot play in Melbourne it is being played in Sydney and the Waratahs have been listed first on the betting sheet.

Bookmakers were clearly unimpressed with the Waratahs last week against the Brumbies and they are the underdogs at 23/20. They lost their opener away to the Reds and then beat the Force at home before going down 24-23 to the Brumbies last week.

The Rebels are coming off a bye having played out a draw with the Reds at a neutral venue. Their only other match was the Brumbies away where they lost by 8 points.

These sides met earlier in the season in Melbourne with the Rebels winning 24-10 and that broke a run of 6 successive Waratahs victories.

BETTING

Waratahs 23/20

Draw 25/1

Rebels 8/10

Handicap: Waratahs (+1.5) at 9/10, Rebels (-1.5) at 9/10

Suggested Bet: Winning Margin, Waratahs under 12.5 points at 21/10

I was quite impressed by the Waratahs for most of last week’s match and I am a bit surprised to find them trading as underdogs here. It should be a tight game and I am looking for the Waratahs to win by 12 points or less.

WESTERN FORCE v BRUMBIES – Click here to bet

The Force have lost both of their opening matches away to the Waratahs and the Reds, but on each occasion they have beaten the handicap. Unfortunately due to COVID-19 travel restrictions they will be playing this match at a neutral venue in Sydney and the Force once again being priced as double digit underdogs.

The Brumbies have won their opening matches at home to the Rebels and away at the Waratahs, but they certainly haven't looked their best.

They have an excellent head-to-head record against the Force, winning their last 7 although the last meeting was in 2017.

BETTING

Western Force 11/2

Draw 35/1

Brumbies 1/7

Handicap: Western Force (+14.5) at 9/10, Brumbies (-14.5) at 9/10

Suggested Bet: Handicap, Force (+14.5) at 9/10

The Brumbies should win this game, but the Force have proven that they are capable of holding their own for long periods and with a big handicap like this there is always the opportunity to get consolation tries to sneak the handicap.
