The FedEx Cup Race concludes this week with the Tour Championship taking place at the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia. We take a look at the Tournament from a betting angle.
The top 30 players do battle for the FedEx Cup and for the second year in a row we have a handicap system in place. Below are the handicaps which the players will start with.
D Johnson -10
J Rahm -8
J Thomas -7
W Simpson -6
C Morikawa -5
D Berger, H English, B Dechambeau, S Im, H Matsuyama -4

K Kisner, R Palmer, K Na, A Ancer, M Leishman -1
C Smith, V Hovland, M Hughes, C Champ, B Horschel Level Par.
East Lake is a par 70 course which has been toughened up a bit in recent years plays very fair and winning scores have generally ranged from (-10) to (-13). Accuracy is your most important weapon at East Lake and in particular finding the Greens in Regulation.
Dustin Johnson, who leads this FedEx Cup race, leads the betting boards 2/1 with Jon Rahm, who beat him last week in a playoff at 28/10. You can get 6/1 Thomas and 12/1 and better the balance.
Past Winners
2019 – Rory Mcilroy -18 (-5)
2018 - Tiger Woods -11

Selections
Xander Schauffele each way at 28/1
Schauffele has an excellent record at this course winning here in 2017 and finishing runner-up here last year. He has some work to do to catch Dustin Johnson, he starts 7 shots behind him on (-3), but given his course form I quite like his chances.
Dustin Johnson win only at 2/1
Dustin Johnson is playing hot golf at the moment and came off a convincing victory in the Northern Trust with a narrow playoff defeat to Jon Rahm last week. He has some very solid course form with 2 Top 5’s in the last 5 years and if he can get off to a fast start he may run away with it.
It should be noted that there is also betting on the 72 hole stroke play winner so in this case it would be like a normal tournament with the handicap not taken into account of course you need to bear in mind the players themselves will be taking this handicap into account as they try to win the FedEx Cup. In this market Dustin Johnson is 5/1 favourite ahead of Jon Rahm at 11/2.

Suggested Bet: Xander Schauffele win at 11/1.
I am taking this bet in case Schauffele plays really well, but falls short on the handicap system.
