The Tour de France Stage 7 starts at Millau covering 168 kilometres to end in Lavaur. We take a look at the stage from a betting angle
Stage 6 Wrap
Stage 6 went the way of the breakaway as we expected, but unfortunately we didn’t have winner Lutsenko in our staking plan.
The break got away from the bunch early on and with perhaps less of a battle than we expected and while it was touch and go for parts of the stage whether the break would survive, in the end Team Ineos set a steady, but unspectacular pace up the Cat 1 climb and Lutsenko was able to capitalise and win at a starting price of 14/1.
Alaphilippe burst out of the peloton to take 5th spot making something of a statement to the organisers who had taken away his Yellow Jersey the day before due to a feeding zone violation.
There was very little change to the Yellow Jersey betting with Primoz Roglic continuing to firm.
Looking at Stage 7 the betting suggests it is one for the sprinters and it more than likely will be, although the start of the stage is very tough and there is the possibility of cross winds which should cause the peloton to be very nervous and may see splits which could turn the stage into one of the most exciting of the Tour. We will no doubt end with a sprint of some sorts though.

Stage 7 Verdict
We may get some chaos today but I think it will end as a bunch sprint and for my money Caleb Ewan is the fastest and offers decent value at 33/10 especially with the money back for 2nd place insurance.
Stage 7 Bets:
Caleb Ewan win at 33/10
Don't forget our money back promotion for a second place finish on all stages of the tour.
