BRANDON MORENO vs AMIR ALBAZI

Flyweight Main Event:

Brandon Moreno is a Mexican fighter who possesses talent in striking and grappling, he has been in the institute since 2016 and he has made a solid name for himself after fighting amongst the top of the division for 6 consecutive title fights of which he won 3, lost 2 and drew 1.

He hasn’t been on top form in his last 2 bouts, losing both. The first was when he lost his title by decision to Alexandre Pantoja and his most recent fight ended in a split decision loss to Brandon Royval in February.

Amir Albazi, fighting out of Iraq is a man who has had a flawless career within the UFC so far, winning all 5 of his fights to date. He is known for his all-round fighting ability, and he has won 2 fights by submission, 2 via decision and 1 by TKO.

His most recent fight took place a few months back in June when he took on the talented Kai Kara-France, the fight went the distance and, in the end, it was Albazi who did enough to get the job done, picking up a decision win.

ERIN BLANCHFIELD vs ROSE NAMAJUNAS

Women’s Flyweight Co-Main Event:

Erin Blanchfield is a fighter from the USA, she has had a near perfect run fighting within the organisation this far and she has proved she is a dangerous grappler with tons of stamina. She has fought a total of 7 fights and won 6 of them.

Her first and only loss of her professional career came early this year in March, when she clashed with Manon Fiorot and lost by unanimous decision.

Rose Namajunas, also fighting out of America, is a veteran amongst the fighters in the UFC, with experience dating back nearly a decade. She has fought at the top for a decent period of her career, and she has featured in 6 title bouts, claiming victory in 4 and losing 2.

Namajunas fought in the Strawweight division until moving up to Flyweight in September 2023 where she lost her debut fight to Manon Fiorot, since then she has won her other 2 fights, with her most recent being in mid-July, where she beat Tracy Cortez by decision.

Blanchfield – 1.80

Draw – 26.00

Namajunas – 2.15

PREDICTION:

I believe that Blanchfield will be slightly tentative after her recent loss, while Namajunas is getting more comfortable in the Flyweight division. I am backing the underdog, Namajunas to pick up a decision win.

DERICK LEWIS vs JHONATA DINIZ

Heavyweight Fight:

Derick Lewis is an American fighter who has been responsible for entertaining UFC fans around the world for over 10 years and he is known for his brutal striking power. He has fought some big names in the organisation, and he has been on reasonable form as of late, winning 2 of his last 3 fights, with the most recent ending in a KO win over Rodrigo Nascimento in May.

Jhonata Diniz is a talented striker from Brazil, he has very little UFC experience, but he has been impressive so far, winning his first fight by TKO in April against Austen Lane and his most recent in August by decision when he entered the octagon with Karl Williams.

Lewis – 2.45

Draw – 26.00

Diniz – 1.60

PREDICTION:

I think Diniz will start this fight off well, however with his lack of experience in the division, he will fall short, and Lewis will catch him with a hefty blow in round 2 winning the fight.

SUGGESTED BETS:

Moreno vs Albazi

Moreno by decision at 2.40

Blanchfield vs Namajunas

Namajunas by decision at 2.75

Lewis vs Diniz

Lewis by KO at 3.00 (for a bigger price Lewis in round 2 at 8.00)
