Durban Super Giants

 

The Super Giants are setting the pace at the top of the log along with Paarl Royals. They began with a 11 run DLS win at home to MI Cape Town where Heinrich Klaasen's knock of 85 earned the MoM award.

 

On Saturday they followed up with a 35 run win away to defending champions Sunrisers Eastern Cape. Durban smashed 225/3 batting first (Smuts 75, Pooran 60 not out) and the Sunrisers repleied with 190/9 with the wickets shared around.

MI posted a whopping 243/5 and the Super Kings could only manage 145 all out in reply with Leus du Plooy top scoring with 48
