SAT20WCVisakhapatnam is the venue for Tuesday's third T20 international between India and South Africa and in terms of the series the Proteas are 2-0 up with three to play

The Proteas put themselves within touching distance of a series win when they took out the second contest by 4 wickets at Cuttack on Sunday. India batted first and posted 148/6 (Iyer 40, Nortje 2/36, Rabada 1/15) in an innings of 7 maximus. South Africa were in early trouble at 29/3 after 5.3 overs but Heinrich Klaasen, who deputised for the injured Quinton de Kock, hit 81 off 46 balls including 5 of his teams 7 maximums to take the Proteas home with 10 balls to spare.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar returned outstanding figures of 4/13 but Klassen was named Man of the Match.

The opening game in this 5 match series was staged in Delhi last Thursday and the Proteas pulled off their highest ever successful run chase in a 7 wicket victory. India posted 211/4 with Ishan Kishan top scoring with 76 off 48 balls. However David Miller (64 off 31) and van der Dussen (75 off 46) took the score from 81/3 all the way to the target which was reached with 5 balls to spare.

The Verdict

The Proteas are obviously full of confidence and India have no margin for error if they are to avoid a rare series defeat. I have no firm opinion on the match result and will look to the exotics for a betting interest.

Shreyas Iyer obliged as my pick to top score for the hosts on Sunday and I'm sticking with the same play here. Rabada has been short of wickets but his figures were excellent on Sunday and he gets the vote to be top SA wicket taker.

Bets: Top South Africa Wicket Taker Rabada at 11/4

Top Indian Run Scorer Shreyas Iyer at 7/2
