After a poor start to the tournament the Sunrisers Eastern Cape are now bidding for a third successive win when they take on Pretoria Capitals in the Betway SA20 at St. Georges Park on Wednesday
Sunrisers Eastern Cape
The Sunrisers were way off their game early doors, losing all 3 of their opening matches by wide margins including a 6 wicket defeat to the Capitals at Centurion where they were bowled out for just 113. Since then a double header against DSG brought about a change in fortunes as they came out on top by 58 runs in Durban and then 6 wickets at St, Georges on Sunday. They retricted DSG to just 115/8 in that most recent game with Jansen, Gleeson, Bnaartman and Dawson all striking twice and the chase was completed in 15.2 overs.

Pretoria Capitals
Two of the Capitals 5 matches have been lost to rain and of the 3 that were completed they lost 2 and won 1. They went down away to DSG by 2 runs, throwing a strong position away late on in their opener before the aforementioned home over the Sunrisers. At home to Paarl on Saturday they posted 212/5 (Smeed 54) but Paarl chased it down with 2 balls to spare for an 8 wicket win.
