Leicester 8.75/1 Draw 4.75/1 Arsenal 3/10 (Saturday)

Leicester have lost 8 of their last 9 and are third from bottom, 2 points from safety. Their only recent points return came in a 2-1 win at Spurs in their penultimate outing but they couldn't follow up next time out when they were beaten 4-0 at Everton.

Arsenal remain second on goal difference, 7 points behind Liverpool. After their 5-1 thrashing of Man City at The Emirates in their most recent league game they exited the EFL Cup at the semi final stage, losing the second leg 2-0 at Newcastle

The Verdict

Havertz is out for the season, Saka remains injured and Martinelli is also in the treatment room leaving Arsenal short of options up front. They could still have goals in them against Leicester although 3/10 looks woefully short to win the game. Given the team news Trossard gets the vote to register 2 or more shots on target

Bet: Player shots on target Trossard, 2 or more at 2.15/1 with Betway

Man City 9/10 Draw 3/1 Newcastle 5/2 (Saturday)

City are in fifth place Chelsea, 2 points shy of Chelsea, 4 behind Forest 9 adrift of Arsenal and 16 behind Liverpool. The 5-1 defeat at Arsenal was followed by a 2-1 win in the FA Cup at Orient and a 3-2 home defeat to Real Madrid in the first leg of the UCL play off.

Newcastle have lost their last 2 home games in the league, to Bournemouth (4-1) and Fulham (2-1) and they are just behind City on goal difference. They did win at Southampton in between those defeats whilst they have also reached the EFL Cup final and made further progress in the FA Cup.

The Verdict

Back to focus on the EPL for both sides and I'm open minded about this one in terms of the result but I do see scope for goals, hopefully 4 or more.

Bet: Total match goals, over 3.5 at even money with Betway

Southampton 4.25/1 Draw 34/10 Bournemouth 11/20 (Saturday)

A 2-1 win at Ipswich in their most recent EPL game was just a second league win of the season for the Saints who are rock bottom with 9 points and 10 shy of fourth bottom Wolves. They exited the FA Cup in a 1-0 home defeat to Burnley last weekend and now face an in form side.

Bournemouth's 11 match unbeaten run in the EPL came to an end when they went down 2-0 at home to Liverpool. They are just outside the top 6 and only 3 points behind fourth placed Chelsea and a 2-0 win at Everton last weekend saw them progress in the FA Cup.

The Verdict

Bournemouth have a couple of strikers absent through injury but Justin Kluivert has stepped up the plate and Semenyo is always a threat. At the prices available I will side with Semenyo to score anytime.

Bet: Anytime goalscorer Semenyo at 1.75/1 with Sportingbet

Liverpool 1 / 5 Draw 6.75/1 Wolves 11/1 (Sunday)

Everton's last gasp equalizer in the Merseyside derby on Wednesday means Liverpool's lead in the title race is 7 points rather than 9. A much changed side lost 1-0 at Plymouth in the FA Cup last weekend but they are in the EFL Cup final and the last 16 of the UCL.

Wolves are 1 place and 2 points clear of third bottom Leicester. They snapped a four match losing streak in the EPL with a 2-0 home win over Villa in their most recent league outing, they have won twice away from home, another 3 were drawn and 7 lost and they have conceded 28 times on their travels, the second highest tally in the top flight.

The Verdict

It looks set to be a busy afternoon for the Wolves defence and I'm going to see if I catch a card market play. Nelson Semedo has 7 yellows this season and I'm wager that ticks up to 8.

Bet: To be shown a card, Nelson Semedo at 11/4 with Sportingbet

Spurs 14/10 Draw 27/10 Man United 17/10 (Sunday)

After a run of 6 defeats and 1 draw in their previous 7 league games Spurs won 2-0 at Brentford but remain below halfway in the standings. An FA Cup defeat at Villa (2-1) leave the Europa League as the last remaining chance of silverware this season.

United are also in the Europa League and they squeezed past Leicester in the FA Cup but league form remains very inconsistent and they are 1 place and 2 points better off than Spurs.

The Verdict

It's been a while since I caught a draw bet right but given it's been pretty hard to have too much confidence in either of these sides, I'll have a small play.

Bet: Match Result Draw at 27/10 with Sportingbet
