Monday, Aston Villa v Brighton
Both sides are in mid table with Villa 2 points better off than Brighton. Villa have won their last 3 home games against poor travellers Brentford, bottom of the table Southampton and out of form Man City whilst Brighton have gone 6 without a win, 4 draws and 2 defeats. That was a kind run of recent home games for Villa, Brighton are out of sorts but can grind out another draw.

Monday, Ipswich v Chelsea
Ipswich are second from bottom and 4 points adrift of fourth bottom Wolves. They have yet to win at home this season, drawing 4 and losing 5. Chelsea lost 2-1 at home to Fulham last time out, ending a run of 9 without defeat. After Sunday's results they have dropped to fourth, 10 points behind Liverpool but victory here would take them back up to second spot. Ipswich skipper Sam Morsey is back from a ban and I'm thinking he can go straight back into the referees book

Monday, Man United v Newcastle
United have lost 4 of their last 5 league games whilst Newcastle have reeled off 3 successive wins. Even if United win this they will remain below halfway in the standings whilst victory for Newcastle could see them go into the top 5. With Fernandes suspended this is an opportunity for the visitors but I'll look for a goalscorer and side with Anthony Gordon, any time.
