Wednesday night's English Premier League action is the Merseyside derby between Everton and Liverpool and a victory for the visitors would see them go 9 points clear at the top of the standings
Everton
Things are looking up for Everton who have won each of their last 3 league games since David Moyes returned. After seeing off Spurs (3-2) and Leicester (4-0) at Goodison either side of a 1-0 win at Brighton they are up to 16th in the standings, 9 points clear of the drop zone with this game in hand.
They did lose an FA Cup tie 2-0 at home to Bournemouth last weekend and they have a lengthy injury list as they head into the first Merseyside derby of the season.
Liverpool
Liverpool exited the FA Cup when a much changed side went down 1-0 at Plymouth on Sunday, a rare blemish on their season. Last week they turned around a 1-0 deficit with Spurs in the second leg of the EFL Cup semi finals, winning 4-1 on the night and they will meet Newcastle in the final.
This is Liverpool game in hand on their closest rivals for the EPL title and they are currently 6 points clear of Arsenal. Having lost just 1 league game all season alongside 5 draws and 17 wins the title is theirs to lose and their most recent road trip delivered a 2-0 win at in form Bournemouth.
The Betting
Everton are 5.75/1, the draw is 36/10 and Liverpool are currently trading at 9/20.
A game of 3 goals or more in total is 13/20 and it's 17/20 for both teams to score.

The Verdict
Liverpool should be back at something like full strength and whilst Everton have improved big time since Moyes returned I'm not going to take the league leaders on.
I'll take my chances with Liverpool scoring 2-3 goals.
Bet: Liverpool multi goals 2-3 at even money with Sportingbet
