TUNE AGAIN is a battling maiden but has found a form return in her last two starts. She finished third in her penultimate run over this C&D. The 6yo mare may be the one to fill the exacta spot. 

SPRINGSTEEN ran a poor race on debut. She returns from a 27-week break and is having her first run for Alan Greeff. The daughter of Rafeef would have strengthened up during the break. She is the stable elect with Richard Fourie in the saddle and can show improvement. 

RACE 2

HER ROYALTY ran a good race when second in her local debut over 1200m on this course. She set the pace before getting caught late by Walkonthewildside. The daughter of New Predator would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. She should go one better in this line-up. 

OPERA VERSE was a tad disappointing in her last start over 1300m on this course. Her penultimate run when third over 1200m on this course, was encouraging. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces. 

CHOC‘ LATE finished 1.8 lengths behind the top selection last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and she may have to settle for the same result. 

RACE 3

SHARAPOVA ran a good race when third in her local debut over this C&D. She finished 0.5 lengths behind MEDITERANEANGODDES that day. She is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. She would have come on from the outing and should strip much fitter. If keeping on a straight line, she should find herself in the winner’s enclosure. 

SEE YOU IN A BIT was an easy winner of her last start over this C&D. She showed good pace, found another kick and won with a ton in hand. The blinkers did the trick and she is one of the leading contenders. 

JADE‘S CABERNEIGH finished 4 lengths behind the second selection last time. She is 3kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result. She jumps from pole position which will assist Craig Zackey. 

RACE 4

IGUGULETHU returns from a 12-week break which may have done him the world of good. He was not disgraced against stronger company, over 1300m last time. The son of Erupt takes a drop in class and if fit, he should go close to winning. 

WORDSWORTH‘S last three starts have been good. He rallied late when second over 1000m on this course last time. He finished third in his penultimate outing over this C&D. The 7yo gelding has cracked a good draw of four and is one of the leading contenders. 

LEGAL THRILLER ran a fair race over 1400m on this course last time. He is unbeaten from two starts over this C&D. The son of Global View is likely to be settled near the rear of the field and will be mowing down the frontrunners. 

Race 5

LADY MAJORCA lost a length leaving the start over 1300m last time, but the manner in which she finished off her race caught the eye. She should have no issues with the rise to 1400m. The daughter of William Longsword has dropped in the ratings and with a bit of luck from her wide draw, she may be the one to cause the upset. 

COLORAMA was running on when second over 1600m on this course last time. Yuzae Ramzan retains the ride and the pair merit obvious consideration. 

VOORSMAAKIE won a good race in her local debut over 1600m on this course. The daughter of Gold Standard takes on stronger, but she has found a new lease on life in the Eastern Cape, and should be up to the task at hand.

STRAWBERRY STINGER ran a fair race at long odds over 1000m on the turf last time. The manner in which he stayed on at the finish that day was encouraging. The son of Willow Magic has dropped in the ratings and will be at peak fitness. If putting his best foot forward, he can return to winning ways in this line-up. 

ABSOLU NOIR stayed on when second over 1300m on this course last time. He has the gate speed to overcome his wide draw. If keeping on a straight line, he should throw out a big challenge to the top choice. 

BELOW DECK has been staying on at the finish in her last two starts over shorter. She has dropped in the ratings and Richard Fourie may be able to get the best out of her where it matters most.

CATCH YOUR BREATH was an easy winner of her last start over 1600m on this course. The manner in which she quickened away from the opposition that day was eye-catching. She has won twice, finished second once and third once from as many starts on this course. The daughter of Canford Cliffs is the class horse in this race and can follow up with another victory. 

YOU WIN AGAIN is the stable companion of the top choice. She is a winner of her last three starts on this course. She returns from a 23-week break and is likely to need the outing. However, she has ability and cannot be ignored. 

FLOWER FESTIVAL raced from a handy position over 1300m last time, moved up before getting caught late. She has won once and finished second once from as many starts over this C&D. She takes a rise in class and merits healthy respect.
