She finished 0.4 lengths behind the top choice in her penultimate run. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish.
ARVERNI PRINCESS ran a fair race over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. She should have no issues with the drop to 1000m and should be competitive.

FLYING THE STAR finished 0.2 lengths behind HEREINAFTER last time. She is 0.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish. She has won once and finished third once from four starts over this C&D. She has cracked a good draw of two and may be the one to side with
HEREINAFTER‘S last two starts have been good. She stayed on at the finish over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time. It must be noted that Maquette has come out and won again since. The 6yo mare will be mowing down the frontrunners.

DONQUERARI ran on well when winning his last start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. He takes a drop-in class and from pole position, he can notch up his fourth career victory.
CHARA SANDS finished 0.95 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 1kg better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair in the run down to the line. He would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter.
MUSIC IS LIFE lacked extra late over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time. He finished 0.35 lengths behind the second choice, three runs ago. He is 1kg worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result.

BANHA BRIDGE hails from the visiting Candice Dawson stable. He is better than his last start over 2400m at Turffontein. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He has won twice and finished third once from as many starts on this course. He jumps from pole position and if all went well with his travels, he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.
IZAPHA showed good signs of a form return over 1400m last time. The manner in which he finished off his race that day suggests that he will love the rise to 1800m. He will be at peak fitness and is one of the leading contenders.
SHOEFELLA took on stronger in his last start over this distance on the turf. He has won once, finished second twice and third once from as many starts on this course. He takes a drop-in class and with Richard Fourie in the saddle, he cannot be ignored.
Race 6
BOSNAY has been contesting in feature races since winning her maiden. She was drawn wide in each of those outings. The daughter of Potala Palace is having her first run in a Handicap and on the polytrack. If suited to the surface, she can return to winning ways.
FORESHORE won a good race in her stable debut over this distance at Hollywoodbets Hollywoodbets Scottsville. She takes a rise-in class, but is in a good space and can notch up the hat-trick.
RAIN WEAR was an easy winner of her last start over this C&D. She raced from a handy position, quickened up well and won going away. Richard Fourie retains the ride and the combination merit healthy respect.
Race 7
PRINCE OF TARANTO has good recent form lines to his credit and has not finished too far off the winner. It must be noted that multiple horses from his last form line have come out and won since. He has won three times, finished second twice and third once from nine starts on this course. He is versatile and should be the one to beat.
CAPTAIN OF GRIT should have finished closer to the winner last time as he hung from the 500m mark to the 150m mark. He has won once, finished second twice and third once from seven starts over this distance. If keeping on a straight line, he should pose a threat.
PRAGMATIST is better than his last two starts. It must be noted that the horse that finished third in his last outing has come out and won since. He tries the blinkers for the first time which should keep his mind on the task at hand.
Race 8
MAJESTIC WARRIOR showed some signs of a form return in his last start over 1950m at Hollywoodbets Hollywoodbets Scottsville. He moved up like a winner that day, but did not go on with the effort. He should have no issues with the drop to 1600m as he has finished third over the distance in the past. The son of Master Of My Fate has dropped to a competitive rating and from his good draw of three, he may be the one to cause the upset.
VENGEANCE FOREVER stayed on at the finish over 1900m last time, but found one too good in the form of Riccardo. He finished 1.4 lengths behind JUSTFORTHEEPENNY, three runs ago. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.
PORFIRIO is a winner of his last two starts over 1400m. He received a three-pound penalty for his last victory. The son of Soft Falling Rain steps back up to the mile and with a bit of luck from his wide draw, he can notch up the hat-trick.
