MADAME ZEE moved up well in her last start over this C&D, but found one too good in the form of Le Premiere. The daughter of Crusade is in a good space and she is the stable elect with Cole Dicken in the saddle. With luck in running, she can shed her maiden tag.
GRECIAN PALACE stumbled leaving the start last time and hung in the straight. Her penultimate run when second over this distance on the turf was encouraging. If keeping on a straight line, she is capable of winning a race of this nature.
KYNISKA finished 0.05 lengths behind QUENTASIA last time. She is 5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.
Race 2
FUTURE FLO showed good speed over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time, but was caught late. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. The son of Futura tries the mile and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, he should be hard to peg back.
HELSINKI ran a good race when second over 1400m on this course last time. He raced from a handy position, but was outrun late. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.
VENERABLE finished 3.3 lengths behind HIAWATHA GOLDBERG last time. He is 5.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. He has finished third twice from as many starts over this C&D.
Race 3
DYMONDIA caught the eye when running on to finish second over 1600m on this course last time. The removal of the blinkers has done the trick. The daughter of Greys Inn will love the rise to 1700m and if keeping on a straight line, she can go one better.
PIXIE IN LOVE stayed on when third over 1600m on the turf last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. She finished second in her only attempt over this C&D. The daughter of What A Winter will be mowing down the frontrunners.
NTOMBENHLE stayed on when second over 1600m last time. Richard Fourie is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her where it matters most
Race 4
MASTER OF LAW was running on when third over 1400m on this course last time. He has won once, finished second once and third twice from eight starts on this course. The son of Legislate should have no issues with the rise to 1800m. He is having his peak run and can return to winning ways.
BANZAI PIPELINE stayed on when fourth over 2000m on this course last time. Richard Fourie is likely to switch him off near the rear of the field and the combination will be mowing down the frontrunners.
EVENTIDOR is better than his last start over 2000m. All three of his career victories have come on this course. He jumps from a handy draw of four and on best form shown, he should earn a cheque for his patrons.
Race 5
GIVERS GRACE met a competitive field in the Non-Black Type Beach Beauty Mile last time. She is better than her penultimate run as the race was not run to suit her. She finished 2.1 lengths behind COLUMBIA ROAD, three runs ago. She is 3kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. On best form shown, she can cause the upset.
COLUMBIA ROAD ran a fair race over 2000m last time. She won a game race in her penultimate start over 1800m on the turf. She jumps from a handy draw of two and should be competitive.
INGAKARA showed good improvement in her last start over 1800m on this course. She raced from a handy position and stayed on at the finish. From pole position, she should be involved at the finish.
Race 6
QUANABI won a good race in her last start over this C&D. Despite over racing in the early stages, she moved up well and kept finding to hold all challengers at bay. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. Calvin Habib retains the ride and the combination can follow up.
FLOWER FESTIVAL finished 1.7 lengths behind the top choice last time. She is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result.
POPPY OF BAYEUX stayed on when third over 1200m on this course last time. She has won once, finished second once and third once from five starts over this distance. She gets a headgear change and the blinkers may do the trick.
Race 7
ALITTLEBITNAUGHTY won a game race in her last start over this C&D. She set her own fractions and kept finding all the way to the line. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. She is likely to adopt the same tactics and may be hard to peg back.
KITTYBOYS GIRL showed good signs of a form return in her last start over this C&D. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. If confirming her recent improvement, she should pose a threat.
BIRDWATCHER was doing her best work late when fourth over this C&D last time. She has dropped to a competitive rating and from pole position, she can earn another cheque for her patrons.
Race 8
MAJORCA PALACE should have won his last start over 1000m on this course. He ran on strongly, but switched for running room at the 100m mark and became unbalanced. Two of his four career victories have come over this C&D. Rachel Venniker retains the ride and with luck in running, he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.
ANOTHERDAYINAFRICA finished 0.05 lengths behind the top choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the wire.
DROGARATI ran a good race in his last start over 1000m on this course. He meets a similar type of field and from a good draw of three, he should run a big race
