I DREAM OF GENIE has run second in her three post maiden efforts. She raced from a prominent position last time, but found one too good in the form of Lucy In The Sky. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight takes a drop in class today and she should strip much fitter. Regular pilot Craig Zackey retains the ride and the combination should find themselves in the winner’s enclosure.

MR FLOOD tried the 1450m last time and did not see out the distance. He finished 0.7 lengths behind VASEEM in his penultimate start. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. He has won three times from four starts over this C&D. S’manga Khumalo takes the ride and he may be able to get the best out of the son of Pathfork
