Royal AM
After a solid start to the new season Royal AM came unstuck in their third outing, going down 3-1 at Stellenbosch. They were 1-0 down in 2 minutes and conceded two more in the second half before a late consolation for Andre de Jong.
Prior to that Royal AM won 3-1 away at Chippa with de Jong scoring twice and in their only home game so far Nascimento's early strike gave them maximum points with a 1-0 win over Kaizer Chiefs
Orlando Pirates
It's been a real mixed bag for Pirates under new coach Jose Riveiro. The Bucs edged their way past Swallows with a 1-0 win in their opening match thanks to Evanga's early goal. Next time out they drew 1-1 at Stellenbosch which was a reasonable enough point but at the weekend they slipped to a surprise home defeat, going down 1-0 to Chippa,
Improvement in away form will be needed if Pirates are to challenge for the title, last season they won just 3 road trips, drawing 8 and losing 4.
Recent Head to Head
In last season's league meetings the teams drew 1-1 in Orlando and 2-2 in the return.
The Betting
In the early betting Royal AM are trading at around 2.35/1 to win the game with the draw at 1.85/1 and Pirates can be backed at around 1.32/1
A game of 3 goals or more is 13/10 and it's 0.92/1 for both teams to score.

The Verdict
This looks a tricky call after both sides lost at the weekend and any of the three possible outcomes in the match result market would come as no great surprise to
me.
With just 1 clean sheet from 3 matches for each of these teams my preference is for both sides to find the net, an outcome which arrived in both of last season's head to heads.
Bet: Both teams to score? (yes) at 0.92/1 with Betway
