VillaUefa Champions League Round 3 gets under way on Tuesday night when our focus is on Aston Villa v Bologna, Juventus v Stuttgart and Real Madrid v Dortmund

Aston Villa 13/20 Draw 2.95/1 Bologna 47/10 (BoyleSports)

Villa are 1 of 7 teams to have won both their matches so far. They have yet to concede a goal after wins away to Young Boys (3-0) and more recently a 1-0 victory at home to Bayern. Villa's 3-1 win at Fulham in the EPL at the weekend saw them finish the round in fourth spot with 17 points from 8 matches and they have lost just the 1 league game this season, 2-0 at home to Arsenal.

Bologna are back in England after losing 2-0 to Liverpool at Anfield on Matchday 2. They had started with a 0-0 draw at home to Shakhtar and they have plenty to do if they are to work their way into contention.

The Verdict

Villa have yet to concede in 2 UCL matches but although their EPL form is strong their defence is usually breached. I'll take my chances with a home win and btts yes.

Bets: Combo, Home win and both teams to score? (yes) at 26/10 with BoyleSports

Juventus 0.92/1 Draw 2.55/1 Stuttgart 3.25/1 (BoyleSports)

Juve can also boast 2 wins from 2 UCL outings and the goals have been flowing. They started with a 3-1 home win over PSV and then came away from RB Leipzig with a 3-2 victory. Juve are unbeaten in Serie A with 4 wins and 4 draws, good enough for third place, 3 points off the pace being set by Napoli.

Stuttgart lost their opening match 3-1 away to Real Madrid. They were fancied (3/10 favourites) to see off Sparta Prague in a Matchday 2 home match but had to settle for a 1-1 draw. Stuttgart are mid table in the Bundesliga with 2 wins, 3 draws and 2 defeats and they have scored 15 goals whilst conceding the same number.

The Verdict

Dusan Vlahovic scored twice at Leipzig and in the hope the trend of high scoring Juve games continues he gets the vote to pop up anytime for the hosts.

Bets: Anytime goalscorer Dusan Vlahovic at 1.32/1 with BoyleSports

Real Madrid 5/10 Draw 3.65/1 Dortmund 51/10 (BoyleSports)

Real's 3-1 home win over Stuttgart was followed by a shock 1-0 loss away to Lille. Real are unbeaten in La Liga with 7 wins and 3 draws and they are in second spot, 3 points behind Barca in the title race. They have won all 5 of their home games domestically, scoring 14 goals and conceding 3.

Dortmund top the standings with the maximum 6 points and a barrage of goals. A 3-0 win away to Club Brugge was followed up with a 7-1 trouncing of Glasgow Celtic in a Round 2 home match. Dortmund are seventh in the Bundesliga with 4 wins, 1 draw and 2 defeats. They have scored 14 league goals whilst conceding 12.

The Verdict

A repeat of last season's final which was won by Real, 2-0 in London and after a jolt in Round 2 Real need to bounce back. That may well be the case but I think there is a goal here for Dortmund and Karim Adeyemi is my go to man for the visitors.

Bets: Anytime goalscorer Karim Adeyemi at 9/2 with BoyleSports
