BettingDiaryThe Red Bull Ring is host to a Formula 1 Grand Prix for the second week in a row with last weeks Austrian Grand Prix also taking place here. We take a look at the Styrian Grand Prix from a betting angle.

Fans had to wait patiently for the commencement of the Formula 1 season, but it certainly got off to an exciting start last week. In the end it was Valtteri Bottas who got his Mercedes up to win the race and take the early Championship lead.

Lewis Hamilton 6/10 (4/7)

Valtteri Bottas 22/10 (17/2)

Max Verstappen 10/1 (7/2)

Charles Leclerc 10/1 (17/2)

Sebastian Vettel 66/1 (18/1)

100/1 and better the balance

Lewis Hamilton remains a firm favourite to win the title at 6/10, but Bottas is the big mover after last week, shortening from 17/2 to 22/10 while Max Verstappen’s price has ballooned from 7/2 to 10/1.

As far as the Constructor’s Championship goes the markets have already been priced as if the race is over with Mercedes 1/8 from last week’s opening quote of 1/4 - Click Here to bet on the Constructors Championship.

STYRIAN GRAND PRIXClick Here to bet

Lewis Hamilton 9/10

Valtteri Bottas 5/2

Max Verstappen 33/1

Alexander Albon 25/1

Charles Leclerc 33/1

Sebastian Vettel 50/1

66/1 and better the balance

Suggested Bet: Lewis Hamilton win at 9/10

Hamilton was very fast last weekend, but could not deliver in the end and only finished 4th behind his teammate Bottas, Charles Leclerc in 2nd and Lando Norris who ran a promising 3rd. The is one concern here is that Hamilton has not won at this track now since 2016, but I am expecting his class to tell on Sunday.

Remember this bet comes with the insurance of your money back in free bets should Hamilton run 2ndT&C’s apply

Suggested Bet: Fastest lap, Max Verstappen at 11/4

I am expecting a big improvement from Verstappen this week and he has proven in the past that he loves the track and won here in 2018 and 2019.
