We take a look at the two Super Rugby AU matches taking place this weekend and suggest a bet in each.
Let’s start though with a look at the Outright Betting where there has been a dramatic shift after the Reds came back to beat the Brumbies last week. The Brumbies who were trading around the 13/20 mark are now out to 21/20 with the Reds shortening from 19/10 to 12/10 second favourites. The Rebels are 15/2 and the Waratahs and Force are considered no hopers in the betting.

REBELS v WARATAHS
The Rebels were deserved winners over the Force last week in a very scrappy game in Perth, the final score of 10-7 to the visitors. All 3 of their games have been tight to date with their previous 2 matches, a 2 point defeat away at the Reds and a 3 point loss to the Brumbies also on the road.
The Waratahs have played 3 matches and lost all 3, going down by 34 points to the Reds away, 51 to the Brumbies in Canberra and then losing by 4 points to the Force at home, they are coming off a bye.
The Rebels didn’t play in Melbourne last season due to the COVID-19 pandemic and they lost by 6 points to the Waratahs in a high scoring game in the last match they played against each other, but prior to that turned in one of their performances of the season with a 29-10 win over the Tahs in Sydney.

Rebels 2/9
Draw 33/1
Waratahs 4/1
Handicap: Rebels (-11.5) at 9/10, Waratahs (+11.5) at 9/10
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Rebels (-11.5) at 9/10
The Rebels have put in some solid performances and are just battling to score tries, something I feel is going to change against the Waratahs who may well be competitive early, but have tended to look out of their depth as the games wear on.
REDS v WESTERN FORCE
The Reds are coming off a an excellent victory over the Brumbies in Canberra, a game where they trailed by which looked a match losing margin, only to come back to win 40-38 in an absolute thriller. They are now 3 for 3 having beaten the Rebels by 2 points at home and the Waratahs 41-7 also in Brisbane.
The Force failed to turn their fortunes around at home last week losing 10-7 to the Rebels, prior to that they edged the Waratahs by 4 in Sydney and lost by 16 to the Brumbies in Perth.
The Reds did the double over the Force last season winning by 52 points at the Gold Coast and 7 points when they hosted the Force.

Reds 1/6
Draw 35/1
Western Force 11/2
Handicap: Reds (-14.5) at 9/10, Western Force (+14.5) at 9/10
Suggested Bet: Winning margin, Reds over 12.5 points at 7/10
The handicap looks well set in this game as I expect a fairly comfortable Reds win, but the Force are capable of holding the ball for long periods and may well stay within the cap. I am going to take the Reds to win a couple of points below the handicap and will need them to win by 13 or more to collect this bet.
