BettingDiaryThe Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is the venue for this weeks Spanish F1 Grand Prix. We take a look at the race and suggest a bet.

Max Verstappen breathed some life back into the Title race when he won at Silverstone last week in the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix. It came a week after Lewis Hamilton won the British Grand Prix at the same racetrack and showed that Red Bull may just be closing the gap on Mercedes.

Verstappen who qualified 4th on the grid beat Hamilton and his fellow Mercedes team-mate, Bottas home with Charles Leclerc in his Ferrari taking 4th spot. Hamilton still holds a big lead at the top of the Drivers Standings and he is now 1/10 to win the Title with Bottas 8/1 and Max Verstappen currently priced at 12/1, you can get 250/1 and better the balance.

Lewis Hamilton 8/13

Valtteri Bottas 7/2

Max Verstappen 4/1

Charles Leclerc 35/1

50/1 and better the balance

Bad news for Lewis Hamilton’s opponents is that he loves this circuit almost as much as Silverstone having won 4 Grand Prix’s here over the years including the last 3 years in succession. In 2019 it was a Mercedes 1 and 2 with Bottas following Hamilton home and Max Verstappen completed the podium.

BET: Max Verstappen win at 4/1

Hamilton is a worthy favourite here, but at 6/10 I am prepared to look elsewhere and will look further than the driver who beat him last week in what were hot conditions at Silverstone. More heat is expected this week and that should suit Verstappen, who is also a past winner at this track, taking this GP back in 2016.
