ENGLAND v CROATIA
England always go into these big Tournaments with high expectations, but this time around there is a real feel that they are Tournament contenders.
They came through their group stages with a near perfect record only losing to the Czech Republic away and they are 3 for 3 in World Cup 2022 qualifying while warming up for this Tournament with solid if not spectacular 1-0 wins over Rumania and Austria.
Croatia only lost 1 game in qualifying and that was away at Hungary. In their World Cup 2022 campaign they lost away at Slovenia but then beaten Malta and Cyprus at home. Their warm-ups haven't been great with a draw to Armenia and a 1-0 loss to Belgium.

I think the English will win this game, but the 13/20 on offer is a bit short for me to get involved in given their record of messing up in big Tournaments. I do think they will win though and like the 2-1 final score line.
AUSTRIA v NORTH MACEDONIA
Austria were runners-up to Poland in qualifying for this Tournament. More recently they have played in World Cup 2022 qualifiers where they have won 1, lost 1 and drawn 1 in their opening 3 games. Their warm-ups were nothing to write home about, a 1-0 defeat to England and a goalless draw to Slovakia.
North Macedonia required the playoffs to get into this Tournament having finished 3rd behind Austria in the qualifying group. They have won 2 and lost 1 of their World Cup 2022 qualifying including a stunning 2-1 victory over Germany and also looked decent in the warm-ups with a 1-1 draw with Slovenia and a 4-0 win over Kazakhstan.

Austria won both matches in the group stages, but North Macedonia look a much improved team and I think they can push Austria all the way here.
NETHERLANDS v UKRAINE
Netherlands qualified for this Tournament finishing runner-up to Germany in their group. Their only defeat in the qualification stations was at home to the Germans, a game they lost 3-2. 7 of the 8 qualification matches of the Netherlands had 3 goals or more in them as had their last 5 Internationals which include 3 World Cup 2022 qualifiers where they won 2 and lost 1 and their warm-up games, a victory over Georgia and a 2-2 draw with Scotland.
Ukraine were undefeated in their group, winning 6 and drawing 2 of their matches to top it. They have drawn all 3 of their World Cup 2022 qualification matches and have shown reasonable form in their friendlies.

I am a bit surprised to be getting better than even money on this one as Netherlands games tend to have goals in them and the Ukraine have scored in all of their Internationals over the last 3 months.
