Saturday’s English Premier League coupon comprises of five matches and we have a play in every game including Leeds v Arsenal and Liverpool v Newcastle
Prices quoted are correct at the time of publication but subject to change.
Brighton v Everton
Brighton have won just 1 of their last 10 league games and that came at home to second bottom Burnley. A 2-1 defeat way to Fulham last time out saw them finish the round in 12th place, 2 below their opponents here who are also 3 points better off.
Everton have won 2, drawn 3 and lost just 1 of their last 6, their most recent road trip delivered an excellent 1-0 win at Villa and on Monday they played out a 1-1 draw at home to Leeds.
The likes of Dewsbury Hall and Branthwaite returning from injury is a plus for Everton and against a Brighton side who have been battling to find their best form the value could lie with the visitors.
Bet: Everton to win at 33/10 with Pokerbet
Leeds v Arsenal
Leeds have 26 points, 6 more than third bottom West Ham. Their only defeat in the last 10 league games came to a late Newcastle goal at St. James Park. They have beaten Chelsea, Palace and Fulham at Elland Road in the sequence in addition to drawing with Liverpool and Man United.
Arsenal are without a win in their last 3 league games, draws at home to Liverpool and away at Forest (both 0-0) followed by last weekend’s 3-2 home defeat to Man United. Their lead over Man City and Villa in the title race has been cut to 4 points, they wrapped up top spot in the UCL League Phase in midweek, finishing with a 100% record.
Leeds are no pushovers right now and the league leaders will have to step up on recent EPL displays. It’s no easy task second guessing the Arsenal line up these days, especially in the attacking positions with Jesus and now Havertz back in the mix. Saka didn’t feature in the UCL in midweek so I guess he is likely to start and hopefully find the net.
Bet: Anytime goalscorer Saka at 5/2 with Sportingbet

Wolves v Bournemouth
Having won 1 and drawn 3 of their previous 4 matches Wolves went down 2-0 away to Man City last week and they remain on 8 points, 17 off safety. Their only win this season came at ome to West Ham, 3-0 in their penultimate home game which was backed up with a 0-0 draw when Newcastle came to town.
Bournemouth have been active in the transfer window and recent league form is encouraging, a pair of 3-2 home wins over Spurs and Liverpool either side of a 1-1 draw away to Brighton to move them up to the 30 point mark.
Bournemouth have turned the corner, they don’t keep many clean sheets but I can see them grabbing a couple more goals here.
Bet: Bournemouth total goals over 1.5 at even money with Pokerbet
Chelsea v West Ham
Chelsea secured automatic qualification to the UCL Round of 16 with a 3-2 win away to Napoli on Wednesday. They have also won back to back league games, Lindon derby matches at home to Brentford (2-0) and away to Palace (3-1) to move back into the top 5.
West Ham are now making a fist of their battle to avoid relegation. A 2-1 win at Spurs was followed by a 3-1 home win over Sunderland. They remain in the bottom 3 and 5 points shy of safety.
I’m with Chelsea and will go with the Joao Pedro price boost to open the scoring
Bet: 1st goalscorer Joao Pedro boosted to 5/1 with Sportingbet
Liverpool v Newcastle
Liverpool put Qarabag away 6-0 in the UCL on Wednesday to advance straight to the Round of 16. They now bid to return to winning ways in the EPL after 4 successive draws at home to Leeds and Burnley were followed by a 3-2 defeat away to Bournemouth. Leaving them 6th in the standings among a scrum of teams from 5th down to 11th.
Newcastle came away from their UCL visit to PSG with a fine 1-1 draw on Wednesday but that wasn’t enough for a top 8 finish and they will now contest the play offs. They did well with a stretched squad over Xmas and New Year but their last 2 league games have seen them draw 0-0 at Wolves and lose 2-0 at home to Villa.
Liverpool have been held to a draw by all of last season’s promoted sides at Anfield fairly recently and although it looks like a top 5 finish will guarantee UCL football next season, they have a whole host of rivals with the same aim, including their opponents here. I’ve no strong feeling for this game but Wirtz gets the vote to score anytime.
Bet: Anytime goalscorer Wirtz at 7/2 with Sportingbet
