Three more English Premier League matches take place on Sunday and we have a play in each game including Palace vs Forest, Hull vs Everton and Liverpool vs Manchester City
Palace vs Forest
Palace face off against former boss Oliver Glasner looking for their first home points of the season after losing to Man City and Ipswich at Selhurst Park. They have won at Fulham and drawn at Leeds.
Forest have earned 4 of their 5 points from their 2 away matches, a 2-2 draw at Liverpool and 2-1 win at Villa. They went down 1-0 at home to Coventry last time out and given they have yet to score in front of their own supporters there is more pressure on them to get a result when traveling.
Verdict
There is no love lost here although that is more down to Forest’s owner suing Palace rather than Glasner coming back to Selhurst Park where he won the FA Cup and Conference League. It’s a wide open betting heat in terms of the match result, both of last season’s head to heads finished 1-1 and this could go the same way.

Hull vs Everton
Hull took 8 points from their first 4 matches against all odds but they came unstuck last time out in a 2-1 defeat at Newcastle. Their 2 home games saw them beat Man United (2-0) and draw 0-0 with Villa.
Everton are unbeaten with wins at home to Palace and Ipswich and draws at Bournemouth and Spurs and at home to Man united. They have kept 3 clean sheets so far.
Verdict
Hull totally took me by surprise in those opening games but I’m happy to side with the visitors here.

Liverpool vs Man City
The game of the weekend for all sorts of reasons and Liverpool come into it with 2 wins and 3 draws against their name. At home they have been held by Forest (2-2) and Fulham (0-0) and they have kept clean sheets in each of their last 3 in the EPL.
City top the log with 5 wins from 5 and boast the only 100% record in the top flight. Away from home they thrashed Palace and won the derby at United with 10 men and they went into the international break 3 points clear of Arsenal. The subsequent news that they have been found guilty of scores of charges involving breaching financial regulations makes this even more interesting.
Verdict
This is City’s first game since the guilty verdict leaked out and we will find out more about whether the off field situation affects the players performance on the pitch. Meanwhile Liverpool really need a home win in a game of this magnitude to really get things moving, they lost both league games to City last season and an FA Cup tie.
Another tricky one and once again I’m thinking draw.
