Monday’s English Premier League game is a huge one for Spurs who are looking to boost their survival hopes when they take on Leeds United.

Spurs
Prior to Sunday’s matches involving the likes of West Ham, Notts Forest and Palace, Spurs, with 37 points were fourth from bottom, 1 point clear of West Ham, 5 shy of Forest and 6 behind Palace as well as their opponents here, Leeds.
They have won their last 2 matches, road trips to Wolves (1-0) and then Villa (2-1) whilst prior to that they drew 2-2 at home to Brighton and lost 1-0 at Sunderland. The Brighton game is the only home fixture Roberto De Zerbi has been in charge of and Spurs conceded in injury time. Spurs last home win came against Brentford, 2-0 back on the 6th December.
Spurs now take aim at Leeds whom they beat 2-1 at Elland Road in early October and after this they visit Chelsea and then finish up at home to Everton.
Leeds
Leeds are unbeaten in their last 6 league games, 3 wins and 3 draws and they have 43 points. Depending on how Sunday’s results go they could already be assured of top flight football next season and their final matches are at home to Brighton and away to West Ham.
Leeds were 3-1 winners at home to Burnley last time out, bouncing back from a 1-0 loss to Chelsea in the FA Cup semi finals at Wembley. Recent road trips saw them win at Man United (2-1) and draw at Bournemouth (2-2). They are unbeaten in their last 6 away fixtures in the EPL and haven’t lost when traveling since they went down 4-3 at Newcastle on 7th January.

The Verdict
Sundays results could be a factor, especially if Leeds still need something from this match or their remaining fixtures but either way I’m siding with Conor Gallagher, who opened the scoring for Spurs at Villa, to register a shot on target.
