Dallas McLeod made it a great start to the weekend, last week. Unfortunately the Saders points and cap came up short. I thought it was home when Havili dotted down in the 75th minute, only for the TMO the intervene and rule the try out. Considering a focus on the try scorer markets as the odds are much more lucrative and it gives one more room for "error". Last week hit at 16/1 so gives one 16 weeks/matches (depending on how often one tries the bet) to hit it again before you break even. Also had McReight and Tupou of Moana at higher odds earlier this season so definitely worth looking into. Theres also the "usual suspects" in this market, which helps eliminate a few choices. Also only taking these bets on games I feel "stronger" on and not each and every game.

Matches this morning: Canes cap feels too high at first sight, but then again not impossible. Canes been bulldozing teams for fun and Saders not near their best this season. Saders lost both away in Aus, somehow beat the Chiefs away and got walloped in Auckland this season. Reece and Jordan missing also a big disadvantage.

Anytime Try Scorer - Peter Lakai @14/10

Waratahs v Force - Going against the grain here and picking the Tahs -4.5. Tahs back at Allianz Stadium where most games tend to be high scoring. Agree with Mossman, Brent and Southpaw on the overs.

Sid Harvey on a try scoring spree so will chance him for the First Try Scorer.

First Try Scorer - Sid Harvey 14/1
Anytime Try Scorer - Sid Harvey 13/10 & Carlo Tizzano 15/10

Yes I've had a good run for 2 weeks now - only losing 2 out of 11 bets.

The Dragons today - I'm going to have to take them on the plus. Looks like Montpelier have their minds on other upcoming games and are fielding a much changed side to the one that beat Bordeaux last week. Maybe they think the job is already done?

Dragons +22 @ evens it is!

I'm further encouraged looking at the Montpelier front row. Looks like they have picked 2 tight head props. One is a 5ft 9 short arse with 1 French cap and the other is a 22 year old novis(for a prop!). I expect the Dragons to at least achieve parity in the scrum.

Good luck Dragons and everybody's bank balance especially Kirky's lol

Under 20  SA  v  Australia

On the basis that SA cruised past Argentina who are now giving New Zealand all sorts of trouble one would think SA could put 10 points on Australia. Nothing large as these are youngsters

SA  -9.5  @  9/10
