A decent weekend for me thanks to those Sharks points

Onto this week and the Lions play SA "A" and the Stormers their final action before the test series

There is also a fair amount of international action starting with Australia v France 2nd test on Tuesday - latest handicap below

Australia -9.5 v France

There are 3 Currie Cup fixtures on the weekend - here are my handicap projections

Sharks -8.5 v Pumas
Griquas +9.5 v Bulls
Lions -9.5 v Cheetahs

Have a good one and lets hit those books hard

Seattle Seawolves vs NOLA Gold

The Gold are flying high after their huge win away to LA Giltinis (top of the Western Conference). They are third in the Eastern Conference, 5 points behind New York, which means they need a bonus point win to get to second, which takes them to the play-offs.

Seattle aren’t in great form. They lost their last 7 matches and they won only 2 in 14 games.

NOLA are on a four-game winning streak and only a win will do. If the Gold can move the heavyweight Seawolves pack around they should find the space they need to put tries on the board and get the result they need.

Bet: NOLA Gold -5.5 @1.81

Wow that is a proper SA "A" Side - not what I was expecting

Not sure what the opening caps for the Currie Cup were but here is how the current caps compare to mine

Sharks -8.5 v Pumas (-7.5)
Griquas +9.5 v Bulls (+10.5)
Lions -9.5 v Cheetahs (-6.5)

Only difference is the Cheetahs game and I am leaning to the -6.5 early doors

Fancy Aus to cover today, France hardly threatened the Aus line last week after the first 15 mins.

Not big stakes as neither team can be trusted

Aus -8 @ evens

Smalls Aus 13+ @ 2.65

Lions left so many points on park but have to hand it to marvellous defence from SA.
Good test for Lions -really needed that after mismatches
Reasonably confident now of a B&I series victory

couldn't see a happy punter anywhere on last nights game, seems the bookies cleaned up. We move on.

Don't know why Wales are still favourites vs Argentina. Pumas played 50min with 14 men, and against further dubious referee calls.

Expecting them to get better this week - Pumas win @ 12/10

France +9.5 and Argentina on the +7.5 @ evens WSB in a multi bet. Bullish on this one. Two teams that could win both their matches.

I don’t know much about this Stormers side as not watched them for a while. Are they likely to be able to avoid leaking 9 or more tries? As with Lions points at 55 that’s what would be needed.

Tempted on overs but it’s not highveld and wonder if the game flows like others?

Got on the Pumas also and in full agreement with South and others , on plus 0.5 , 2.5 and 3.5 so far.
I will not back the Wallabies for the foreseeable future as they are hopeless, but I agree with Hanrick the changes are for the better while the French have made a host of changes too but I'm not sure what difference it will make to them.
Weather interesting in hamilton ... I am going low on the Fiji points line though at around 13 points.
In Ct i'll be going low on total points at 72.5 .

I knew this was the bet of the weekend as soon as I saw your post. Unfortunately I was already too committed to make a play. Well done sir.

Cracking weekend on the rugby and fired up for the Boks Lions match. That “either side by 7 + draw” market will be getting my full attention once it’s priced up. Feel this test is going to be very close.
